Curently trying to redo, improve, set up done in 2008 of running 18HP Briggs mower engine on water in carb. I studied all previous documents from the web site and purchased many parts. I'm at the point of finishing building the isolated power supply by gnd to gnd, and diodes series protection from the ignition high voltage. The original running engine used 10 amps THROUGH SPARK PLUG at the starting 12v battery. Battery removed, then the on board alternator to DC provided bridge rectification power to circuit, self running at idle speed. Water drawn through small hose to carb by engine venturi vacuum. The flywheel has 12 magnets creating electricity with the dual alternator underneath. The 4kohm spark plug was changed to zero ohms. Timing retarded to about -neg 34 degrees by the triple wires S1R magnetic coil. Field pulsed was impressed over the ignition plug wire, and continued spark from TDC to -34 degrees. The water moisture is to expand to vapor pressure during piston down stroke, with also small hydrogen gas generated and fired. Important items are 2 inductors 1.5Millihenry added in both low volts and high volts line with fast diodes. See S1R9A9M9 (2) You tube videos from 2008! Web site now shut down. It was earlier suggested by engineers that his previous car engines converted using pulsed 7 amps, had used tesla magnetic spark gap with Radiant Energy passing through inductors and spark plug. Three technicians , plus Nathren at that time worked in local electricians shop in Georgia. S1R had used very old style special dual coils 60cycles relay on the high voltage that sparked through the internal contact gaps in it's Vacuum chamber to provide unusual benefit. I am a believer that one of those relays / single coil, was in the plastic deli tub on the side of the 18HP engine . The accessory spark gap, and several parts are in the tub! S1R (Nathren) did not supply full instructions to replicate, since the relays are obsolete, and several people later, got hurt with battery acid and shorting wires . He then changed his published circuit so it would then not work. I designed, in 3 months, a substitute unit in vacuum box that may work with it's N+S magnets, spark gap, diodes and inductor - all in small sealable Carlon box with gauge.
@waterfuel2 жыл бұрын
S1R9A9M9 ran his mower engine on just water in carb, with amps through plug the same time. ( water vapor pressure + small Hydrogen ) A Triple coils assembly was used with plated #14 gray and red copper wire from riding mower chassis. Circuit has 100% on 7turns Magnetic field as 90 degrees over 5 turns of #12 gauge wire for firm frame for the upper 7 turns. see wire with side tap joint #1 to ground, 6-10amps through plug, accessory spark gap, diodes, Timing shifted to -34degrees late timing by the field, the 6-10amps fire only when plug fires through 13 turns. Joint #2 as Hi V + amps together to plug. Water in carburetor changes to water vapor pressure at low end of piston stroke, along with minute amount of hydrogen gas that also fires. Vacuum pulls only level of water engine needs. Electrical Circuit source of resistance to limit current not known. Battery start, battery removed., Circuit runs on onboard dual alternators - Probably AC for field + DC for spark plug amps, (or Bridge rectifier to get 15 A) . High voltage ignition is negative with positive ground. EGR was not applied on Briggs 18HP as was done with earlier car conversions that used sets of obsolete relays. S1R coils was to replace the unusual relays. He called it electromagnet + booster coils.Original spark plug of 4kohm changed to 125ohm QC12YC About 1300 v required to push current through plug. Induction cross voltage leakage from Ignition., or flyback high volts effect from 2MH coil included. Engine ran on water at idle speed and sounds somewhat like a water pump! Parts contained in plastic tub on side of engine with wires coming down from upper engine cowl and all wires wrapped in blk elec tape - it's not just 1 plug wire!. Alternator wires always come out on left side Briggs starter motor. Extension cord , if jumped at the plug end, can be the extra long RETIURN WIRE from bottom of spark plug he said was required and back to tub alt wire. See S1R9A9M9 Videos #1 + #2. at slow speed. Web site shut down.

Suggestion between the carburetor and the bubbler or pressure tank which ever is the last stage. Place several inches aluminum wool loosely packed to not impede the hho to the carburetor. It there is a flash back the aluminum wool will fool the gas and stop the combustion by dropping the temperature this saving the job reactor.

Look at his repulsor video again and see how he regulated the pressure to set a steady stream. Once the HHO is in the tank it can be used like most any other kind of gas, so 2v starts the electrolysis and the amperage determines the rate of HHO generation. Just PLEASE follow as many safety guidelines as you can; this stuff is truly powerful gas(just ask the Sun 😉)

So, all of the energy in the HHO comes from the engine's alternator, which in turn comes from the petrol. So how come continuous HHO injection *improves* the fuel efficiency? All you are doing is turning fuel into electricity into HHO - there is no additional energy being created. Have you any thoughts on why the overall fuel efficiency is improved?
@xanthuumnihyr53194 жыл бұрын
Sadly it doesn't seem like it improves anything efficiency wise. But it does improve performances
@jonahembry52154 жыл бұрын
Correct me if I am wrong, but here is my take on it: Technically, you can't create energy (Thermodynamics), you can only release energy. The system uses energy stored in petrol fuel to create electricity, which in turn creates the hydrogen fuel source. The problem is that the use of the hydrogen fuel source is basically the inverse of the HHO process (HHO splits water into H2 and O at cost of energy, combustion combines hydrogen fuel and oxygen into water and releases energy). A perfect process would release the same energy as you put in to create it, but this perfect efficiency is of course impossible. So due to energy losses in the system, it should be less efficient. However, because hydrogen has a huge energy density, you are basically storing energy and releasing it all at once. This system is similar to using energy to compress a spring, then releasing that spring and all that energy at once, (much like how the cannonball system in his latest system works).
@hyperhektor77334 жыл бұрын
@@jonahembry5215 don't worry there is not problem with thermodynamics or efficiency! He adds additional energy with comes from the batteries (which make HHO) there is a slight efficiency increase possible (not sure ifs its in this case) bceause the efficiency of thermodynamic machines increases with temperature difference. Since HHO burns hotter it >could< be a bit more efficient.
@Mech87a4 жыл бұрын
See it abit like a supercharger, the greater efficiency the motor gets from the petrol when mixed with hydrogen(Increased air pressure from the supercharger) more than makes up for the power cost of creating it. Edit: Or thats supposedly the teori, don't hold me up on it.
@chaitanya62844 жыл бұрын
What if we send HHO instead of fuel in combustion chamber and ignite the gas , will the piston still works I.e will it rotate?
@mikeconnery465210 күн бұрын
Every engine needs to have gas storage for exceleration. Now lets make it even more complicated . On that small bike you might be able to add a small electric motor. The solenoid is for adding a quick volume of gas to start accelleration , right? My challenge. How to get the battery pack on a circular framework that flies using air foils. Also an additional area for a circular fuel tank. So start with a drawing and iterate. You see rockets use ( waste) so much energy just moving the first 1000 ft. Parameters and challenges. Hint, a heavy lift helicopter needs an atmosphere for control.

As an Engineer I see a problem in your design... when you are releasing the gas abruptly into the engine you may lose a big part of it... Simple think about it. you are releasing a high compress gas into an open pipe (air filter housing/intake). Clearly the engine is producing a suction over this intake making a low pressure (vacuum) environment. If the pressure released is higher than the vacuum of the circuit, the gas will go the other way, (try to put a lighter near the air filter and press the button when testing in the lab... mmm outside the lab). the best way is to put it in between the carburetor and the engine, as it is a metal pipe. Normally there is a port there to measure the vacuum, if you can just weld a small metal fitting (if possible point this fitting towards the engine, so it will be harder for the compress gas to go back. Another thing that you can do is putting a one way valve in the air intake. In any way, i am skeptical about what you are trying to achieve here.. I dont think will work on the way you want to work, because your tank is too little, the engine will consume in a matter of a second or two, not been able to give you any real boost (and even less without the non return air valve) Remember, the engine can burn only a limited quantity of fuel (14.7:1) and then you are introducing Oxygen and Hydrogen into the mix, meaning, suddenly there is less oxygen (as the high pressure will stop the suction of air) so then your engine will replace some oxigen for a combusting gas. This rich combustion will have less power than a 14.7 to 1. In trucks and other vehicles, they add a turbo to increase the amount of air (oxigen + crap that "is not burn") into the engine, allowing to burn more fuel. Note that when you add more pressure or just simply, add more power, the combustion will be hotter ( a normal exhaust can reach temperatures of around 300C, 400C, while a turbocharge can reach over 1000 C depending on compression). This may damage your engine. what you have build here is a way to store energy. The energy that you put into the lithium battery then is used to generate extra fuel and pressure that you can add up to your fuel at will, however to make it more simple, you keep your separator at home, you connect with quick claps a gas bottle and then you charge it to its maximum pressure, then with a pressure sensor you disconnect the hidrogen generator, disconnect the bottle and put this bottle into your bike/car/truck... then you press the button and enjoy the boost. Same design, just different way to enjoy, as now the extra added weight is only tank + gas, and you save the batteries and the generator. Also you can skip the generation finding a good source of hydrogen gas or even nitrous oxide which has roughly the same amount of energy as hydrogen (yes yes, hydrogen has more than anything else.. but.. this one is closest and highly available ) In any way, for a trucker with already a turbo on it will be easier to just modify with a leak valve + an electroval the membrane that keeps the turbo boost stable pressure, allowing the turbo to give it a temporary boost on these conditions, but again... you dont want to force the engine of what feed you and your family. Now, looking at this from another angle... I am going to say firs that I am a fan of Hydrogen fuel, however, if the temperature of the combustion reach certain levels (around 500C) the "crap that "is not burn" that is coming with the air, start to react with the oxygen, generating nasty gases that are more dangerous than CO2 to the environment. The problem of Hydrogen is that it burn so Fxxxx well, that it reach easily this temperature and when it does generate water plus a nasty nitrogen-oxygen reaction that harm the environment. In order to avoid that you need to provide a very rich hydrogen - oxygen mixture (50/50 as I racal), but as I was writing this, i just recall that you may scape this problem as your combustion of fuel-oxygen is now richer... :) Now, as a biker: if the front wheel doesn't pop up, you are not making significant increase of power ;). Please try the non return valve or just add it in the other side of the carb... you will get the full vacuum of the engine and will take as much as it can. Also, carry only a gas bottle.... then measure the time it takes the pressure to equalize the pressure... then.. make a video of this bike, on a road accelerating with gas full open and press the button and the front wheel popping up... if it doesn't pop.. you are doing something wrong :) In other hand, I like your project and videos :)

My question is would you be able to totally substitute the fuel with the gas being generated? If so could you completely get rid of the need for fuel.

It could be possible but transporting the needed amount of hydrogen around in the car to run it would be like driving around a small bomb u can only imagine what would happen in 2 hydrogen powered cars crashed together

Maybe with an lpg motor. there are some changes to be made. Liquid fuel also acts as coolant when you rev a "simple" motor over its sweet spot. Using gas instead might lead to cooling issues, if not addressed.

I have so many questions... the most important being: did any company contact you to develop a commercial hydrogen powered motorbike/car/vehicle?
