In 1981,after many years of reading New Age etc. which I now believe is also occult, I was so confused that I cried out to God. Crying, I told Him that I didn't know what to do. Jesus spoke to me these 3 words very clearly, "Read your Bible". It's been a long and winding road. Now I am 71 and still following Jesus more than ever. Thank you, Jan, for sharing your story with Alisa. I pray it will help anyone who will listen, that they will turn their life over to Jesus.

Amen. I was involved in the church of Thelema: Aleister Crowley. I was spiritually corrupted for years in this falsehood. Jesus took me out of this and set my feet upon the Rock of Ages. I was living in the enemies camp and believed that I was on the path of knowledge. I was so wrong and so deceived. I was abusing alcohol and opiates. In the end it was not Crowley... It was the devil who had me in his grasp. I was blind and Christ gave me back my true vision. Praise Jesus for His mercy and His true forgiveness. I leave you with a warning: Stay away from the occult. Walk in the Holy Spirit and stay in the good Grace of God. God Bless you and keep you.

Childhood sexual abuse, breaks spiritual boundaries that protect children. I believe this is one form of abuse that leaves children so vulnerable to spiritual entities. I believe Jesus’ words about “whoever harms one of these little ones……..it would be better that a millstone be tied to his neck & he flung into the sea” gives an idea that Jesus knew just how precious a child’s innocence is.

It's not our body that is like God but out mind. That's why the law of attraction is so attractive because we can think something and it will happen. That's why we have to change out mind to be like Christ and our helmet is the helmet of salvation and we have to work out out own salvation in out minds. White magic is not evil. God gave us powers to heal, and do ALL THINGS that Christ did, and Yeshua (Jesus) makes that clear that we can do the things he did. Without Moses story being told in the Bible he’d just have been doing magic, just as Pharoh said when he denied the signs from the Most High. Imagine a guy with a staff like a wizard bringing natural distasters and plague. Also Using the herbs that God allowed to be grown for us instead of harmful OTC drugs, performing love healing and body healings through energy work this has been done for millions of years (probably billions since the oldest mortar and Pestle is 4 billion years old declassified by the CIA) it’s got to stop to be demonizing the Power of God within us. Also remember that the Christ is within us, and not the body of Jesus being worshipped on the Cross. Bod bless you. And open your heart and mind to the truths of the Universal Supreme God, the Most High, you sent us his only Son to show us spiritual awakening and Baptism AKA Purification , and to show us that wickedness is in the ones that judge and persecute others

When I became a Christian after being in the occult for years, the unfortunate thing I noticed is that the Christians who were my age who I "looked up to" spiritually because they had been walking with the Lord for so long at that point, it is very hard for them to hear or listen to when I say something they are reading or interested in "seems fishy". I felt just completely ignored and unheard whenever i would mention anything, as if i had no credibility, most of the time. Maybe some of that was my fault for not speaking up loudly enough about things, but... Seriously... We need to be willing to listen to one another with a greater desire for truth than these compelling seductive things. We need to love the truth. We need to love Jesus and each other... And when that's not happening, pray.

I have heard what you said here and I have had the same thing with my life and some people who I was in the same church with and I was going through a counselling session with and one of them was a great guy who was a mature Christian and he worked for a healing ministry and he did deliverance ministry and he had a very good insight and discernment however the lady who was with him in each meeting with them she was so negative about everything and her husband who was not in the meetings but in the other groups in church they always seemed to make me feel worse about everything I was doing or saying. I must admit that I have never been as hurt or as let down by Christians than anyone else in my life and although it affected me it actually made me closer to the lord and gave me a good understanding about the dynamics in church politics and leadership than ever before! Yes it is good to have fellowship but we need to get our roots and our hearts on Jesus and not in a church because at the end of the day we are the church not a building!

It sounds like you have an addictive personality; "latching onto things"... "clingy." Christianity is drowning in the occult, as it was born right out of Egyptian mythology and sun worship. Jesus ("the son" .. "the light of the world") is an allegory for Horus ("the sun" .. "the light of the world"). The word Amen comes directly from the Egyptian invocation "Amon-Ra" (To the God Ra). The word Israel is a reference to the Egypian/Phonecian deities "Isis-Ra-El." EL is the god of Saturn, or in other words: Satan. The Sun cults warred with the Saturn cults for many centuries. That's why Jesus (Solar) is insulted in the Talmud (Saturnian). What could be more occultic than Christianity?

That’s so interesting about Disney. I think that’s definitely something that every parent should be prayerful about how to approach. My parents made it very clear to me that magic isn’t real and that true power comes from God. That truth was so ingrained in me that even though I watched Disney movies as a kid, I still find “real magic” and sorcery weird and evil. My parents ultimately framed it as “magic is fun to imagine, but it’s not meant as something to do in real life”.
@littlebirdie23 жыл бұрын
@Autumn Johnson My parents taught the same. It seemed inherent in the ‘50s Christian raised parents to explain it that way & worked well for most everyone I grew up with. There is reality and there is fantasy. A concept obviously confusing to some people today. It seems that the society of 1950’s America based on the Christian belief & social system of that time was pervasive and accepted in the Christian values taught to children not only for the sake of the individual, but for a better social structure. Since the ‘60s it seems to me people are confused on the difference of reality & fantasy, which I contribute mainly to the loss of ‘certainty’ & knowledge of God’s Word, which gives one a much stronger set of values & foundation for their own lives & that of society. Just my observation & probably poorly put forward! I really enjoyed this interview & discussion. Thank you for all your time & effort in creating this vid for people to ponder & learn from!

Thank you for addressing Audrey. After the listening to you and the coopers and the camps, I wondered about some of the musicians that had made such an impact on me early in my walk. Audrey was a huge part of that. And I had a sneaking suspicion , so I went to the internet. I was so devastated reading where she is now. My heart felt shattered. Not my faith. I want to be clear. No human has the power to sway me from the word of God. But shattered for a person I have never met and yet loved and held a place in my heart for. For the way she her music was so refreshing for me and comforting to me as I stepped away from the life I knew into a new life in Christ. Her first album was sooo good, and when I first gave my life to Christ, I used to listen to it constantly. But...and I don't know how to really explain it, but even before I know that "Christian deconstruction/progressivism" was a thing, I had a weird feeling about her as her later albums started to come out. I was also not super loving the fact that she converted to Catholicism (although that in and of itself is not necessarily a sign of apostasy, I just have to wonder about someone's biblical discernment if they feel comfortable converting to a nearly-dead denomination). But I just felt there was something "off" about her album "Evergreen" and I stopped listening. Ironically, as with Amanda Lindsey Cook, who has also become Progressive and very new-agey, I have found that both their music has gone steeply down in quality the further they have drifted from biblical Christianity. It's funny that as both of them have started to idolize themselves more and more as "artists" and, frankly, to worship their art rather than the One who gave them their gifts, their music has just become extremely boring and mediocre. And now I see from Audrey's Instagram that she has gone full new age, and weird, and spiritual. It's tragic. But that just shows that we really cannot put people on pedestals, especially artists.

I was also abused in the same way and also saw things around the same ages. I've known Jesus my whole life, and it's crazy bc our lives are very parallel. I got into Wicca in high school and played with spirit boards and I was unwittingly allowing more attachments from all this. I started doing drugs and doing stupid things. Fast forward to my 30s, and I had started to wake up to everything in this world and began researching everything from the occult to political things, and began having sleep paralysis. It was happening almost every night until one night, about 3 months into it starting, I called out Jesus' name and immediately woke up. I forsake Him in my early 20s after losing my 1st baby, and that was the first time since that I had called on Him. Now I've learned that when I do any research into aliens(demons) I will have sleep paralysis. It's definitely all connected. I know that Jesus loves me and heard me even when I told Him I hated Him. I believe the abuse was the enemy's first tactic in his plan to destroy my faith and it happens all the time to so many of God's children. I think you're amazingly strong and it's awesome that your strength and early faith pulled you through. It's not easy, the road is narrow...... God Bless you ladies. Satan is pretty and intelligent as the Bible describes him. He knows how to deceive even the elect. That is why it’s important to read God’s word everyday and study every word. Our hearts cannot lead us in truth, we need to rely on God’s word to discern right and wrong. So we don’t get misled by pretty glittery things that make us feel okay about ourselves. The occult and new age entice us by allowing us the permissions to give into our flesh. This is the opposite of what God wants. God wants us to live through the spirit.

Everyone should familiarize themselves with John Ramirez's testimony as well. Thank you for sharing your wonderful testimony of God's goodness. It is not God's will that any should perish but come to the knowledge of the Truth that is found in Jesus Christ of Nazareth alone. New Age teaching and the presentation of false Jesus Christs (where people make him in their own image) is a major problem in church, especially in the last days. This witchcraft has infested most churches today! Just as people are recognized by their fruit, so are churches. 2 Peter 2, 2 Timothy 3-4, and Matthew 24 are excellent references, to name a few... Just as bars and clubs are Satan's playgrounds for adults, Disney has been Satan's playground for kids for a long time. I am not saying everything from Disney is demonic, but we need the discernment of the Holy Spirit to know the difference between what God says is good & acceptable and what is evil & sinful. Also, I make no apology in saying that Harry Potter is demonic and of the Devil. Television has desensitized us to all sorts of evil things, so we need the discernment Jesus Christ provides us so badly these days!

Well duh I mean it should be obvious If someone is doing things they shouldn’t be such as abuse & than using religion as a cover. That’s just a bad person period under the guise of using religion to do their evil acts. I’m sorry but it still amazes me how people cannot differentiate these things. Of course when you’re young you may be confused but on some core level you realize something isn’t right & when you’re old enough you can realize it wasn’t religion it was just the person. I’ve never read in the Bible to be beaten in the name Of God. From what I read in second testament it’s about forgiveness & showing love. People are the ones who twist gods word to suit their own agenda.

After my own deliverance, I fell into circles that use a lot of new age in their teaching. And because I was Biblically illiterate I didn't know what they were espousing wasn't the truth. It took watching American Gospel to break the spell that I was under. Because indeed after being brainwashed with this teaching and being a huge part of these circles it did indeed feel like I was under a spell. And I cried as I watched American Gospel because the Truth was finally setting me truly free.

Sincere question. The Bible does forbid witchcraft. Does it forbid reading stories about witchcraft? If so how can it be OK to read about the witch of Endor?
@ianmcdonald86483 жыл бұрын
@@sorenpx While we are not to judge the motives of people, we can judge the works or words - unless they have repented before God. He was a devout Catholic and very much an adorer of "Mary". There are no doubt millions of geniune beleivers in Jesus in the Roman Catholic system; He knows those who are His. But.... Jesus spoke nothing about us giving His Mum the attention that the Roman Catholic doctrine does. The apostles of Jesus calls us to focus entirely on Jesus Christ and no other. To be a "Christian" is to follow Jesus in the way He commanded us to and that He taqught the apostles to likewise teach and command. Focusing on "Mary" is absent in the Gospel of Jesus Christ which is the power of God to salvation.

@@princeofdarkness1261 Why would you want to read stories about witchcraft? If you are studying the teachings of a certain belief as in wicca, for the genuine purpose of being able to reach people who are caught in that realm, that is one thing; but it is entirely another to read fantasy stories of witchcraft, written by people who are into that scene, such as the authoress of Harry P. She said that the whole story (or part one) was downloaded to her by a "guiding spirit" in a train journey. (it was an unclean spirit a seducing spirit that gave her the rubbish) There is no spiritual value in that, rather great danger.

@@princeofdarkness1261 I think it’s worth noting that the witch of Endor wasn’t the hero of the story. I have come to the conclusion that for me Harry Potter is very much a 1 Corinthians 8 issue. Stories of magic and witches/wizards etc are no stumbling block for me. I’m an avid reader and from a young age have been very good about pulling what is useful for me from stories and leaving everything else. As someone who grew up while the Harry Potter books were coming out I thought the concerns were absurd. From a very young age I had a clear picture of what was fantasy and what was reality and the idea that might be a struggle for people seemed beyond reason. But the last couple of decades have proven me wrong so if it a stumbling block from my brother I am willing to forgo it.

I always felt type disturbed and disgusted with laughing and shaking in churches knowing it was evil and came from spirits and not sent by God. I even had a devil of insanity attack me in church once and almost fell down a fight of stairs smh. My sister prayed over me in her car and we both rebuked it in Jesus name. I refused to except and it left by the power of God intervening.

@@lucidarose613 “ Condescending response “? You must think you control the Holy Spirit for you to arrogate to yourself absolute knowledge of what the Holy Spirit does and doesn’t do in the life of a Christian. I’m very much aware that the devil can be present in churches, but to tell the millions of people who are filled with the Holy Spirit that they have to act in a way that you choose is absolute arrogance. The irony of it all is that these churches that you condemn are usually the ones that you see the manifestation of the Spirit of God like you read in the Bible. How can you claim to have the Holy Spirit manifesting in a dead church where you can’t even see any sign of rejoicing, dancing, crying, clapping etc. Come out of tradition and experience the manifold expressions of the Father. By the way the 120 people in the upper room who received the Holy Spirit weren’t celebrating Pentecost. It was those outside celebrating Pentecost that didn’t receive the Holy Ghost. So much ignorance in the church today.

@@danielesu7747 Acts 2:1-20 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. 5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. 6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. 7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? 8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? 9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, 10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God. 12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this? 13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine. 14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: 15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: 19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

Eh. It’s like when Paul talks about some things being okay for some and not for others. Some people can be in a bar without a problem, whereas it’d be a sin for someone else. Some people can read fiction and not make it into a key part of their identity and beliefs. Some people can’t watch silly reality shows bc they get too pulled into the world, etc. Each of us has something that is forbidden or bad for us but not for others, depending on our own personal sin natures.

What a great interview. I have had major concerns about the New Age practices seeping into the church. Also, Disney is absolutely evil. Last year when I woke up to all of this and began wholeheartedly pursuing Jesus, I actually felt completely revolted by these things that I was once entertained by and thought was harmless before. The kundalini spirit seems to have snuck into so many churches and tries to say it is the Holy Spirit. A fruit of the spirit is self control. Sometimes I see this stuff and wonder if these people will have severe whiplash the next day from what their bodies are doing. This last year I believe I have been delivered of so much through tears. I used to never cry, but I have had tears come so much as I pursued Jesus and felt so much lighter every time they came. Its not a hard cry, just tears and my heart softening. The Holy spirit isn't chaotic or distracting. Just things to keep in mind when in services...

In services we have to just compare what we see and hear to the word of God. I cry too when I become in awe of who Jesus is but the bible also says to dance for the Lord, shout unto God with a voice of triumph and praise, sing to Him, lift up holy hands, clap. These things should be normal even if they seem disruptive to some. And I've seen people experience God in a different way too but its also important not to judge a whole church if one person is doing something that may seem a little off. The church as a whole should follow the word of God
