caloriebee.com/diets/stephaniebuttermore Found this article based on you and your 'all in' approach! While it might seem harsh, I think you (being a scientist) might find this take on weight restoration/endless appetite interesting. There is a difference between eating to 'satiation' and reaching your set weight when you're eating whole foods and when you're eating refined sugar/carbs. What do you think? x

Have you considered changing the photos in your optimization programs to reflect the new you and the body positive view you've recovered by going all in? Or including something with every purchase that discusses what people will probably look like after your program (not straight after a cut and stuff). I think that would be good to add to help encourage people to feel proud about FEELING strong and healthy, not the way they look (except the booty of course).

You can overcome this!! I was in your position suffering from bulimia and anorexia for over 13 years. I finally overcame it when I moved and had to live with and see new people that I didn't want to know about it. I'm at a healthy weight now, and even on days that I'm "up" on the scale it doesn't bother me because I know I'm so much happier and healthier now. I believe in you, it is an excruciatingly painful journey to overcome an eating disorder but when you do your life will be so much better. Good luck on recovery, I'm rooting for you!!

Dee Cohen what? Yes she was a binge eater because she restricted for the “fit” look. Binge eating disorder is mostly triggered by not eating enough. So her eating as much as she’s satisfied with now is the only way she could curb her binge eating. She’s not “compulsively” eating, she made a decision to put her life, happiness and contentment before other things. She looks and feels way better and healthier now, and if you’ve never suffered from a disordered relationship with food and your body then you might not get how wonderful she must feel

After following your story these past few years I realized I was in my own all in journey. I was very lean in 2018 and was experiencing a loss of period or very inconsistent periods but once I went into university, I gained 15-20lbs. After gaining all that weight, my period became consistent again and I slowly started losing weight after months of being heavier. I’ve lost about 10lbs and I feel like my body is at a normal and manageable weight. I didn’t realize my journey is very similar to going all in. Love following your journey, you are so strong for sharing your journey with everyone ❤️❤️❤️

Watching this 6 months into my all in journey. The hardest thing is family members commenting on how I’ve gained weight because I used to be so skinny, but that’s also when I had an ED. I’m doing this for my health and so that I can have children in the future. When I was really underweight I lost my period and that was when I knew I had to change something. It’s been so hard, especially accepting the fact that I am no longer just skin and bones, which I am still working on, but your videos have helped so much, thank you!! ❤️❤️

honestly, the biggest difference that I can see since you went all in is: you look HEALTHY, which in and of itself is amazing news for you and in showing people that being healthy and active and in shape doesnt mean eating 1 sparragus as your food for the whole day. motivational and positive don't do justice to describe all this journey. keep it up

@@thaliarice3891 ahh, but that's the thing see, the social image that we have nowadays of a "fit" person is completely unrealistic, a "fit" AND healthy person should have around a 15% body fat, and in this journey she has taken you can clearly see how she gained weight and stabilized, but also some of it wasn't her getting fat but getting "puffy" or "bloated", which later on you can see is going away. dont look to bodybuilders competitions for fit and healthy image, check a professional athlete and then consider they dedicate 6-8 hours a day training or check a soldier, whose job is to be fit for war and healthy, and you will get a more realistic representation. trust the doctor not the magazine

Hey Steph! I would love to see another DEXA. You started the journey with a scan and now that you’ve peaked and started heading back towards a set weight, it would be interesting to see how your body has changed! It would give people who are around your proportions a better idea of what a scan would look like for them. The first scan only resembled a very small minority of people (competitors, etc.) but a scan now would be more relatable I think.

I just wanted to personally thank you Stephanie for sharing your journey because of you I had the courage to also go all in. I was struggling with binge eating, anorexia, never-ending hunger/ cravings, body dysmorphia, and also was not getting my period. I was always trying to be as lean as I could be and would starve myself and workout heavy with less than 1,000 calories a day. Back then I thought even that was too much. I was running on energy drinks, and preworkout. I was roughly 105 pounds, and I’m proud to say I’m 138 pounds. Yes when I first started to gain weight I was going through an emotional rollercoaster, and could relate to you so much. I was swollen and puffy, but I’m so happy to report now that I’m healthier than ever. I feel stronger, I get compliments all the time about how much better I look and my mood has improved tremendously. I don’t really crave as much as I used to, and food isn’t constantly on my mind like before. I’m actually eating till I feel satisfied and before I could never do that. So thank you from the bottom of my heart because I don’t think I could have done it had I not watched you do it. Thank you for being brave and sharing your story!!! 💗💗💗💗

I am current to date 133.8lbs with a healthy bmi of 21.5 for my 5'6 height and have a swimmers body I do still eat what I want just in moderation so my go hard days I would say that is when I have those cheat meals which is sunday and the rest of the week is go healthy until my next weekly weigh in. My daily intake my body requires is 2000-2500 cal per day on my go hard days that is 2500 and on my off days is 2000 cal per day keep up the great work girl you look healthy and even younger now go girl!

For XC and Track, our coach has us take a mandatory 2-wee k break after our competitive season. It helps us heal and rest so that we can better train in the Winter and Summer months. We don't lose fitness we lose lactic acid build-up and those microscopic tears from training and stretching. This ensures that we don't crash in future seasons while maintaining strength and agility previously attained, so we aren't just all starting from scratch. There's more stuff too but that's all I can remember right now.

As a Registered Nutritionist, it’s expected that I’m pristine and perfect - but life really can get in the way! I’ve lost 25kg previously, and I was really unhappy and unsatisfied. Even though I was in the best shape of my life! Over the last two years, I’ve gained back around 9 - 11kg (fluctuates). Though I’m not in the best shape, I’m enroute doing things at a much slower pace and I’m doing it for me. I’m gaining strength, I’m enjoying food again and I’m learning so much more about myself. My body shape is changing again - but in such a great way! I see shape, I see curves, I see strength. Thanks Stephanie for documenting your journey!

Salty and sugary foods really mess with my water retention and general inflammation. Especially in the joints

I'm loving these updates. I have just started weight lifting habitually for the past 8 or more weeks now and seeing your journey has really helped me. Seeing how positive you have been has helped me to look at my own body and progress in a more positive light. For the first time in the past 2-3 years, I feel good when I look in the mirror. I truly appreciate how I look. Thank for being an inspiration.

Stephanie I love your style. Can you talk more about your new wardrobe over the past 8 months or so? You briefly showed your initial purge and haul to have stuff that fit but I'm curious to see what clothes make you feel comfortable and confident now.

My husband had the same surgery & him not being able to exercise he gained weight and the Doctor said it contributed to further injury...... So he lost all the weight and recovery was a lot faster.......

You look super healthy and happy, and that shot in your bodysuit was soooooo good. I know you’re trying to not focus on physique but where you are now is a solid goal for me.

Working in a hospital, I had been curious how you'd been able to get your compression socks on without anyone helping (since, you know, we have to help our patients get theirs on. I don't think I've ever saw or even heard of the thing you use. Gonna see if I can get some info on whether it's available in my country, as I'm sure there's a lot of people who would prefer something like that at home instead of getting a nurse over daily to help them with it.
