My folks got a puppy back in January. My mom has been working from home since the beginning of April and throughout the day my step dad gives her "puppy breaks." The puppy thinks it's great, more attention, and my mom gets a break and some love. My step dad and I were discussing this an hour ago about how confused the puppy is going to be when my mom goes back to work. They keep their bedroom door closed during the day because the puppy likes to "treasure hunt" in there but my mom has been working in there behind the closed door so she is going to think my mom is still home when she isn't.

One of my local channels does this about once a month. They bring in adoptable cats and dogs from local shelters and hold them (not all at once) throughout the broadcast and have shots of the dogs running around the studio to help showcase their personalities.
