Also the reason he does his squats like that is because his knees are NOT held together by gods will, by shifting forward it lets him transfer more of the load onto his hips on the way up
@majungasaurusaaaa
@majungasaurusaaaa 6 жыл бұрын
His knees are beat up and have gone through surgery. Saying Oly lifting is healthy for the knee joints is like saying boxing is perfectly healthy for the brain. You do what you do to minimize damage, your body can take quite a bit but eventually things will catch up on an elite level.

Cuz u shouldnt wear a belt unless u lift like 300kg+, belt cripples your core and belly muscles it’s really silly to wear when you lift 100kg

Larry would rather walk without a cane when he's 40. His form is fine and he lifts more. A lot more.

Idk, 640 squat is damn impressive but 400lb push pressing (or snatch or power snatch or whatever the hell that olympic-kinda lift is called) I think is equally impressive. Heavy loads on the shoulders are crazy.

Why? His knees are pointing right directions, his back is neutral, and that range of motion.that is a beautiful form.what i don't understand is that why there's crossfitt written on the wall.this guy can't be a crossfitter, right?
@sergiotl7378
@sergiotl7378 6 жыл бұрын
His form, as you said, is impeccable. However, there's still many uninformed people who believe that ATG squats are harmful for your knees. This guy is an olympic weightlifter, not a crossfitter. But he's training at a crossfit box because that's a very good place to train the olympic lifts. Great quality plates, barbells, platforms, etc...
