For me with the aita about religion. I feel like my friend had similar situation. My trans friends parent said please come to the hospital the other parent was passing and not supportive of them being trans. Other parent said just go as your assigned sex to appease them before they pass. I fully supported my friend and didn't think they were an asshole for not going. You do not need to be present for people who have caused you trauma. Point blank period the end.

For the chalk kid thing, I feel like if it's at all on the neighbors property/area, sidewalk included, it is disrespectful for chalk mom to ignore and laugh off their complaints. Any boundary set should not be ignored. If its on her own house and property, then yeah it's whatever lol also, I love having Abbie on! :)

1) Who listens to every word of a wedding? 2) What happened to being INCLUSIVE?!?! 3) Isn’t the wedding ceremony to be most meaningful for the 2 getting married to understand? 4) Make the others learn some Spanish to show how welcoming they are to their new family member - I dunno, say a few things in Spanish. Imagine how memorable that would be? 5) Some people need duct tape.

ENGLISH/SPANISH WEDDING OPINION: This is the first time the bride and groom's families are being confronted with combining traditions/styles, and for that I give them some grace during this learning curve. I hope they come to realize that all future events/holidays will benefit from their acceptance/tolerance of everything not being exactly the way it's always been for them. I have been to a wedding where the bride and groom opted for a bilingual ceremony at it was just as heartwarming even during the parts that I didn't understand every word because the love in the couple's eyes say everything you need to know. Groom's family is wrong in this instance and I hope this matter starts to be handled with more compassion because if not it will bite-them-in-the-ass going forward

My friend group and family have a code phrase for having a booger. We just say “bat in the cave” and everyone knows exactly what it means. We also tell each other it’s considered a betrayal to not let the other know when we have something going on. When it comes to strangers and acquaintances I’m a little more subtle though!

I just got duolingo last night. I have 2 really good friends in germany that i met playing online games. We have been friends for 3 years now. It doesn't seem right that they speak English but i don't speak german. So i thought i would give it a go! 😅 so far all i can do is order from a coffee shop haha "Kaffee und Milch, bitte! Danke, tschüss!" Which is, "coffee and milk please! Thank you, bye!" Or replace Kaffee with Tee (tea) 😅 i sent it to my friend and he said SMH. I said, "what? Why?" He said it's because now he wanted kaffee and couldn't have any atm! 😂

Why do the English speaking family members think that they should get priority when it comes to understanding the ceremony? The family of the bride and the family of the groom should be EQUALLY prioritized. The groom's family can't even handle portions of the wedding being in Spanish yet they expect the bride's family to be okay with the ENTIRE ceremony being in English?! IMO this is the epitome of entitlement, selfishness and ignorance.

Hi Abbie! I use Algenist GENIUS Liquid Collagen Lip Treatment everyday. It's technically a lip plumper, but it works by helping your lips hold moisture. I tried it because I wanted a lip plumper that didn't just irritate my lips into looking fuller. It doesn't really plump much, but it has cured my chronically chapped lips. I have not had chapped lips since about two weeks into using it. It is a little expensive, but it has paid for itself in the money it has saved me in lip balm.

Honestly guys I love it Rach and Abbie cause it takes my mind off things. Same thing happened to me last year this month last year my sister's and mum tried to take over my wedding and me and my husband took control and my oldest sister whom I no longer have a relationship with abused me over the phone cause I didn't choose my sister I have three sisters and I was hysterically crying after my now husband was holding back because he was angry at my sister for treating me that way. I don't blame him. On wedding day this sister who abused me on the phone was very stand offish and made it all about me having to pay attention me the bride having to only pay attention on my niece. My sisters were over the top on wedding day. I no longer have any relationship with my two oldest sisters cause they verbally abused me for years and belittled me.

I don't mind not being told that I had something in my teeth or a booger. For me, being told is the embarrassing part because it bothered them enough to speak up about it. I just don't think it's a big deal. I have learned to say something about it because I know that's the norm but I hate it.
