A cinch on a horses saddle is the main strap that holds the saddle onto the horse 🐴 and the noise the horse makes is their little complaint against the tightening of that strap 🐴
@AnorhiDemarche7 жыл бұрын
Horses will often puff out their stomach in an attempt to make the strap stay loose, so you've gotta really go for it at the right time or your saddle will slip and you'll fall off like an idiot.

Re watching old stuff before bed ....started this series about this time last year, wish you would do book 2 man. I know they only get longer and more complex but everyone did book one last year and no one did 2+...commit man we will all watch and I'm sure you could even patreon or live stream to make some extra cash. Hope you see someday or more fans see and agree and help push

Also , since gray wolves are adapted to chase prey over long distances, they have lots of adaptations to increase their stamina in order to hunt for many hours, so Ghost is probably doing okay with chasing Jon.

Religion in GoT is a bit odd. Would a somewhat detached and allegorical religion akin to the Catholic church even exist in a world filled with magic? The Fire God and the old gods make miracles happen on the regular and here is this Faith of the Seven with its neat little stories. Arguably the Faith helps people get through the day more than some malevolent trees or sitting by a bonfire all night before the invention of acoustic guitars so it‘s ironically more practical for those who aren‘t magicians so there’s that. Another mildly interesting point: Where do the Crows get the money to pay for Buried Treasure? Do they have a fund for extracurricular activities or do they pay the prostitutes with stolen shit from Three-Finger‘s kitchen? I assume that the Watch doesn‘t pay wages so I am quite confounded.

I wouldn't say that the characters are atheistic, but the gods are not very talkative. The old gods, as you said, are not a church. The Seven or the Drowned God don't talk - their priests do, just like in real life. People get guidance from preachers, not from the God directly. Only R'hllor seems to talk, and even then, indirectly, often vaguely. And in real life, there are no credible examples of any higher power influencing people. So, GRRM recognizes that religion is made up of people, and the things people wrote. Whether or not written because of a real god of a fictional one, they are the words of humans, so they're only as credible as humans go in ways of spirituality. Humans can help and influence each other in the name of god, or as "representatives". The characters get as much guidance from religion as many people in the real world do - just not from the gods themselves.
