The only drawback of the zero fighter was that it didnot have self sealing rubber fuel tanks . One bullet hit from an american fighter plane would burst the zero fighter plane into flames. Self sealing rubber fuel tank was an american invention during the second world war . So american fighter plane could sustain much damage compared to a japanese fighter planes.

American aircraft carrier based Navy fighter plane such as the "Wildcat" though lacked many features compared to Zero fighter plane and perhaps inferior but American wildcat planes used tactics such as "Thach Weave " to beat the zero fighters. Later the Americans designed another upgraded navy fighter " Hellcat" which was superior than the Wildcat plus both these American planes had self sealing fuel tanks

Thank you for the feedback. We deliberately try to keep the video in 5 - 15 mins range -- mostly around 8 mins as we find that people tend to watch the full video if the duration is in that range. Not to mention the effort involved in making such a lengthy video. We usually convert lengthy topics into a series. Unfortunately, this means we cannot include a lot of details. So, we end up covering the most interesting aspects of the story only.

I have seen many ww1, 2 documentary's.. but this one is special.. usually those documentary's are saying whole the ww2 history... But you're explaining about weapons & techniques used in ww2 especially secret weapons & techniques... that's nice German soldiers were taking some kind of drug/medicine during the ww2 that's why they were fast and unpredictable. can u search about the genuinety of that..
