I'm not a detective but I think Amarillo PD needs some more visits.That first guy was scary - he seemed to be "nice" initially but as it turned out - he wasn't - very sly. Every other sentence these cops spoke contradicted the preceding sentence as they tried to back pedal and cop-splan when they finally started having an honest conversation. Even within the part of the dialog that was less intimidating, they were still lying about what they had stated only minutes earlier. This is a prime example of why you should always record your interactions with the police. They are so used to lying to the public and not being held accountable that they probably don't even realize they are doing it. The cops came as though he was that enemy, that cops view people as .It was simple he asked for service at the Police Dept. and got the run around. then the cops came like they where an armed force and they would settle the issue their way. Either looking for an excuse to make an easy arrest .or trying to hinder his right to ask for the service they supply to citizens for a complaint form its not their bus. as to the complaint which will be on the written complaint form. Not really undermined as much as they just didn't want him to file a complaint it to begin with. anytime a cop has a complaint filed against them, it goes on their record as the tally. it hurts their record. more Tally's they get, the closer they become to being suspended or having some of their pay or salary cut or perhaps even suspension or being fired... Once a complaint is filed it goes to their Superior and it is submitted for review. So if James doesn't file the complaint, nobody ever hears that an officer has been abrasive or used misconduct. and the higher-ups do not find out this may be a bad or untrustworthy officer. he didn't want him to find those forms because he didn't want any of his bosses to know someone had complained so it would not be put on his record... Even if the complaint wasn't about this specific officer they are really weird about wanting to protect each other from getting in trouble for violating our rights

I love your videos man you actually stand up and Inform people how to deal with stuff like this. I got beat up by 2 cops while I was in cuffs and they weren’t even wearing body cams. Apparently they have a choice to wear body cams in Lane county. I’m trying to figure out how to take action but it’s obviously hard with little resources.
