This is the first video of yours that I’ve watched. You guys get right to it. No wasting time, trying to stretch out the video. I love it! One question. Why do you overlap the pasta sheets? Doesn’t that mean that some sections of the lasagna will have a lot more pasta than other parts?

Welcome to our channel! The reason we overlap the pasta sheets is because we do not want the filling to seep through each layer especially the bottom. Not really a noticeable difference in pasta layers.

My mother would make Lasagna in a pan like that, but the cheap aluminum. We took it to my Grandmother's sometimes. My Dad had a small piece of plywood that he would carry it on because it was so heavy. Good times. Great recipe.

I am also from Brooklyn and love my eggplant. My dad is from Italy and we make a tray of eggplant with Ricotta like a sandwich. One of my favorite dishes. I may try this for the holidays. I need to find the fresh sheets of lasagna in Florida. I bet your momma taught you how to cook so good:)
