Epic room Shane, I really love the design and aesthetics of the room. Shane helped me design and fit my personal room out, and I can't recommend him highly enough. His attention to detail, great advice, and finished job were just Stella. Better than I could have hoped for. Great job Shane and really enjoyable video Tony.

Nice one Tony, agree, Shane is a great guy and one of the more talented installers in Sydney with great Automation skills. It’s nice to see the room although I doubt Shane has much time to relax..

Thanks, there’s always something that need to be still done in these rooms. As long as you enjoy watching movies in there.

@@Intouchelectronics I love my room, the amount of effort I put into it was a lot and absolutely worth it! - I just need to make some absorption panels to take the incredible amount of echo I have from untreated walls

Thanks mate, where possible I will do them this way - however for USA tours it has to be done remotely sadly :(

@@BuildMontage You should get correspondents to go to places in the USA. If you have someone in LA, let me know. That would be fun.

Fully agree with Shane, why change when it does it's job! I have a 21 year old Sony subwoofer, it looks it's age but it's still working fine, will only replace it once it stops. Thanks for showing us your beautiful room Shane and thanks Tony for the video 🖖👍

People sometimes comment on what people should have "at least" gotten without realising it's a journey.. Any why upgrade if you're happy?

If you put some black velvet on the ceiling right about the screen would be really good
@BuildMontage11 ай бұрын
There is a black cloth ceiling which we totally forgot to showcase in the video which was actually an amazing feat getting a single stretch however, there is a bulkhead at the front.

what speaker system or amp does Shane use for his guitars? I'm thinking of doing something similiar! just need more space
@BuildMontage7 ай бұрын
Probably not!
@belykhdm10 ай бұрын
I think for the most even sound stage you need at least 4 subwoofers: two in front, two in back
@BuildMontage10 ай бұрын
There was no lacking of bass in the room, however Shane did mention he may get some for the back - remember this hobby never ends ;)

Any time I've left a guitar sitting in the theater room, the strings audibly ring/vibrate sympathetically at times and it needs to be removed. Room is awesome.
@BuildMontage11 ай бұрын
I never heard any guitar sounds during the demos.
@Intouchelectronics11 ай бұрын
Thanks mate. I’ve never had an issue with them making noise. Maybe it’s because they all hang from hooks and not touching the main structure of the room. The acoustic is at the front, so maybe it does resonate a bit but I’ve never heard it.
@deanm.rosenberg384711 ай бұрын
That explains it. If I've had one in the room, it's on the floor leaning. Makes sense!
@Simon-kl5uu11 ай бұрын
Love ya work Tony! Wouldn't his rack in the cupboard need more airflow/cooling? I'm asking because I'm wondering what to do myself in my home theater build. Cheers.
@BuildMontage11 ай бұрын
I think there is but we didn’t cover it. Personally I use an aircon vent which is ducted and also have ac infinity fans and a thermostat which works really well.
@Intouchelectronics11 ай бұрын
No ventilation at the moment, but I have the AC infinity fans ready to install, just haven’t had time to install. It doesn’t get too hot in there. But will definitely get to it soon.

@buildmontage Great content as always and amazing theatre too. Need an advice brother; At what angle or distance I can install front wides in my theatre? Thank you, in advance.
@BuildMontage11 ай бұрын
You would need to take some measurements and then work out your angles according to best practice as well as taking into consideration any constraints you may have such as windows or doors, or even not having a lot of space to work with. I would try looking at the Dolby Atmos 9.1.6 guide (just google for it) and see the way they have the measurements laid out and go by the angles they give.
@IacobDarman10 ай бұрын
Hey, can you bring back the estimated prices for everything in the theater? I really love your videos, you are the best in this niche.
@BuildMontage10 ай бұрын
I can only do it with the consent of the room owner, and in most cases they don't want that information shared unfortunately - but I definitely will share it when it's approved :)

What is the RAL code of the paint on the walls & ceiling? Love it
@BuildMontage11 ай бұрын
Not sure what a RAL code is - the paint is called Dulux Domino
@anoopnair637611 ай бұрын
@@BuildMontage Thanks a lot, i am building my dedicated theater, I am stuck between Dulux theater black & Dulux Domino
@Intouchelectronics11 ай бұрын
I’ve had a few clients that have gone with Theatre Black and regretted it. As good as it can look, it’s hard to keep it looking good. The Domino also scuffs easy, however I use a soft wet rag to wipe the walls down and the scuff marks disappear.
