I have so much respect for Adam for doing this. The best episode because of his openness and honesty. So many military personnel go through this but hide it. You could see the pain in his eyes. We need to do a better job of providing care for our military personnel. It’s shameful to let them suffer in silence. Good job Adam for speaking up! The world needs more people like you.

I'm an army veteran and the Amen Clinic has helped me tremendously. With mTBI and long covid. My goal is to have this covered by VA for all veterans. The military has recommended against hyperbaric I read. Based on a nonspecific study from 2013. And they even state one issue is Tricare doesn't cover it. Their Brain health center for excellence. Okay. So let's change that. Hbot has no side effects like meds. And spect scans provide a picture of what's needed. Thank you for doing this and bringing attention to things that really help.

After returning from vacation, I remember that my focus and performance were out of the chart(I was tackling problems at work fast and precisely, issues that people made meetings of 5-10 people to solve). Even though I was constantly light under alcohol, I've made 1 coffee a day instead of 6-to 7. The thing I attribute mist impact to was two diving sessions. The mixture in the breathing tank(different from atmospheric air) and pressure on a 30m dive made something. Diving provides an impact similar to a hyperbaric chamber.

I have CPTSD and mid-level ADHD ass diagnosed by 5.5 hours of testing with a neuropsychologist. I have all of the symptoms Adam has; memory issues, emotional dysregulation, Very easily distracted, and no ability whatsoever to " plan," s in I can't think 2 or 3 steps ahead. Also, absolutely cannot multi-task. I was very, very upset when I learned of the results as I have a higher than average IQ.( 115) The supplements that Dr. Amen gave to Adam, are they only available through the Amen clinic or can they be bought OTC? Is there a combination of supplements I can acquire to do what Dr.Amen's brain supplements do for the brain? PS. My CPTSD is from trauma/ abuse ( mental, emotional and physical for 5 decades.)

You are not ignored however. 97% are false. I don't know you it may not be. But if you don't do certain things for long periods of time. You DO NOT have PTSD. You have poor coping skills. Which is a problem yes. But not the same. A hard day, a car accident, even sadly one shooting event. Does not shape or affect the brain the way it does say as a person in the military. It's also not as complex. That is why Cptsd is a thing now. All people have experienced have experienced PTSD at a point in there life. 99% of the to me it is gone in 6 months. Which is in multiple medical per papers and test. So that means 99% of civilians are looking for attention. I again they may not be you. But it's a real problem.
