To tell you a bit of his background. He has beening treated differently when he was young just because his voice didn't change like the other boys when puberty came but that was not his choice. Those people think there was a joke but all the bullying were start with a simple joke. Don't you think? People used to called him names..... because of that he didn't sing in front of people for a long time and he even tried to tone down his voice when he speaks. It takes a long time for him to accept his own voice again and gets where he is now. He has studied Dentistry in Ukraine when he was young but because of the language barriers, he changes to studied Classical music there instead. His goal is to combine Classical and Pop music together to introduce to those who didn't know what Classical music is. His vocal range is very wide and his breath control is very good. He is a polite, funny, and humble guy. He can sing at least over 12 different languages. He can even sing 6 different voices in one song. His music has so many different genres. If you are willing to dig into his performances, you will be amazed by his talents. A lot of music can heal people's bodies but not many can heal people souls. I'm so glad you liked it! His voice is out of this world. Can you believe he was almost a dentist?? Makes me wonder how many other insanely talented people are out there in the world that we just don't know about because they went with different careers. Also just a little pronunciation tidbit, the "zh" in Mandarin makes a "j" sound, so his name can be said like "Joe Shen" if that helps

Ahh our wonderful Zhou Shen. He is really amazing. He is primarily self taught. He did study bel canto in Ukraine. He speaks 7 languages and can sing in various voices. He vocal range, control and tone are amazing. He sings a lot of OSTs as well as pop songs. There is no genre that is outside his skills. He also can sing Chinese opera and incorporates it into some of his songs.
