Amethyst has some really deep seated self esteem issues. They came out in full force when peridot pointed out that she’s ‘wrong,’ that she isn’t what a regular amethyst soldier should be, but I feel like they’ve always been there, she’s always felt like she was the weird one among the crystal gems and that’s why she made a wrestling persona and all that other stuff. She tries to hide it behind being nonchalant and casual but now that Steven is approaching her in terms of power level it’s been getting harder and harder for her to ignore… she thinks she’s supposed to be like Jasper, a big strong powerful quartz soldier, and it’s really getting to her that she’s not. I think that can definitely be compared to disabilities especially invisible disabilities, cause for people dealing with an invisible disability they often wrestle with things like ‘I feel like I should be able to do this but I just *can’t do it* and I don’t understand why’

One of my favorite theories about Greg’s perma-tan is that it’s from Steven’s birth, when games shapeshift or reform they glow white, so when rose gave birth and became Steven, there likely was a bright light which gave Greg his iconic tan

In "Greg the Babysitter" we see that Steven's tendency to break things at Funland is inherited. 😛 Jasper's got nothin' but time - I think she's just hunting the corrupted gems manually. I first watched the show around when it ended and had very little advance knowledge, and yeah, it's quite an experience! No need to apologize for discussing the show - that's what I'm here for!

All the other timelines where things go perfectly or other random stuff happens is what fanfiction is for lolol. You'll notice that even the stuff that's "filler" still reflects the themes of the show, so if it wasn't Jasper, it would still be related somehow. (And that's on great writing~)

I always thought lars was embarrassed about liking plus sized women like Sadie, because we saw his magazine with the curvy short girl on the cover in the dream episode, but he is wildly obsessed with looking cool and fitting in. Sadie deserves better than lars and waaay better than Ronaldo. I get really bad vibes from ronaldo, especially because he almost killed lars and hit steven on two different occasions. I wouldn't feel safe with him.

Its because Jasper has a helmet for her 'gem weapon'. If you watch you can see it make contact with the helmet at that last second and it knocks the wind from her
