The simple tests are often the best.. Thanks for sharing.

Just one of several aspects of Interceptor. Ours has gone 6 years with minimal crud on exhaust parts. My neighbor (know-it-all) can't even start his without an hour of work at the start of the season.

Please do this test again with the new oils on the market. Specifically polaris VES extreme. Thanks

All of my diesel engines make oil pressure faster in the winter while using Amsoil 5w-40 over my friends and families identical diesel trucks that use conventional 15w-40 oils. I feel better on cold starts with the protection of Amsoil and enjoy quicker engine warm-ups with the Amsoil antifreeze additive in my coolant.

Conventional vs synthetic. 5w vs 15w. About as apples to oranges as you can possibly get.

@@Vayjining kinda hard to do a closer comparison since no company provides a non synthetic conventional 5W-40 motor oil. I even noticed a smoother start up when I was using a synthetic 15W-40 oil before I began to use the 5w-40 synthetic oil.

When are you going to add the Cenpeco to the test?

yup amsoil rules !

Why does it appear the Amsoil glass sits a bit more of an angle than the XPS oil? It's pretty obvious if you stop and look at it, stop it at 0.38 and see for yourself. Seems the Amsoil might be getting a bit more of an advantage from the start?

You can see this isnt true because the amsoil falls through the air quicker as well. Its less viscous than the ski doo regardless of the millimeter difference

Put them both in snowmoblie at that temp over night. See which one starts up faster, better results that way.
