Printing to a Universal Laser System using Adobe Illustrator

Good morning. I complete the design in Illustrator. It just a simple cut out which is red. But once I open it in the UCP. It turns out black. And automatically starts engraving when it should be cutting. Why is that?

You'll need to make sure it's set to RBG (255 R, 0 B, 0 G) for line color. You'll then need to set the line weight to 0.003. The ULS platform will recognize this as a "hairline stroke" for cutting. I hope that helps!
