I think it would be fun to watch a video of you (through Zoom or whatever) helping someone re-organize their bookshelf. That would be fun! Someone who you think has a reasonably-sized shelf (to limit time) but also has the right elements, but the wrong aesthetic. It could be a cool way to see you interact with one of your followers. Love the videos, keep up the great work!

I should’ve clarified that that light is my dining room table light, which is where I also work from (it’s a small place, it’s my desk and table lol) I moved it out of the way to take the picture. Funny thing - I was just thinking about this series last week. Saw a great set of shelves at a coffee shop, and I want to make use of it as home decor once I move out of an apartment. The shelves were free-standing but created pseudo walls in the open floor plan. I liked it.

As the sister of a Librarian I have questioned best way to store books. Upright or on their side is the best way for the longevity of books. On the point of laying them with the spine up it can damage the whole book. I don't send mine in because most of mine is on a Kindle. And yes I have over a thousand books on my Kindles.

i might be biased because i have an entire wall of tall white shelves, but i honestly love white shelves so much. they work with most decorations and make colourful books pop. i think black/wood shelves can look amazing too but sometimes they crowd the books or clash with the colours. then again, i do have light purple walls and many colourful books so i do see how for others with white walls and white books, it might look bland or not distinct enough. i like em though :-)
