One thing that I struggled with for years is that I doubted my salvation based on being misinformed growing up in the Southern Baptist Church. I got to the point where I considered myself agnostic for many years because no matter how close I tried to get to the Lord I was still being assaulted by the devil every day with all of the temptation's that we all deal with. It took years to realize that even after being saved that we are still going to have to deal every day with the devil getting into my head so to speak. I began to ask myself if it was me and am I insane or can the enemy actually get into ones head. The Baptist Church had led me to think that if you are really actually saved you no longer deal with the temptation of the world. I think that Joyce Myers Battlefield Of The Mind was very eye opening for me to realize that saved or not we all deal with the devil and temptation every day. Also managing your emotions instead of letting your emotions manage you is a good insightful book by Joyce Myers. I have read Russell Moore's new book as well and have been inspired by him. God and Jesus Christ teach us and help us deal with what life throws at us if we have faith and follow this teachings. A lot of Evangelical Churches have fell under the influence of Donald Trump and The Devil who uses him and it will badly hurt the church and it's image for many years to come. May God watch over us and keep us and have mercy on our souls.
