Probably the most genuine and understanding Tool reactions i have seen. And ive seen alot. You absorbed the music like a sponge. Welcome to the Tool Army. . 🌀

"this is different" - not too much pauses or comments, just simply enjoying the music. great reaction!

Thank you for this reaction! And also thank you FOR HAVING THE VOLUME SO THE VIEWER/LISTENER CAN TURN IT UP SO IT IS POSSIBLE TO HEAR IT LOUD!! So many reactors have such low volume on their vids. It’s appreciated!

I'm so glad you got headphones! Tool pays such attention to detail and it really shows in the production and engineering.

Spiral out brother That album should be reacted to in order as it tells a story from start to finish. It's about growing as a human. And there are insane gems on there. Next song The Patient, Schism (which has 47 meter changes and about 12 time signature changes IN ONE SONG), then you'll get to Parabol and Parabola which must be played together without stopping, Ticks and Leeches, then you get into an absolute masterpiece of Lateralus. It is written both in the music and Maynard's singing cadence under the Fibonacci Sequence, a mathematical formula. Absolutely insane. Then you'll finish with the trinity of Disposition, Reflection, and Traid. Ready to watch you become an absolute Tool fan. Again, spiral out!

A way to think about Tool is as 3 composers (guitar, drums & bass) who work together to make quite complex, yet musical, scores. They then have the chops to back up their arrangements. The last 30 seconds of this song is where, IMO, they stretch musicality the furthest in their catalogue. So thankful to be around in the time Tool.

Thanks for the lack of intro, much more pleasant to watch. Also I've seen it recommended you check out lyric videos maybe, I agree. The instrumentation is amazing, and then Maynard (vocals) absolutely slays with his intelligent and witty writing. In my opinion, Lateralus is one of a few albums that I can say is 100% tops. Like, most great albums have at least one or two songs that you'll skip after years and years of listening cause they are just ok, but this album for me is perfect all the way through.

I swear tool is hot right now for reactors,i could sit here and list all their good songs worth a listen but its pretty much all of them from every album!

The singer Maynard also has two other bands, A Perfect Circle and Pusifer .....Grand Canyon from Pusifer and Judith from A Perfect Cirle are both great songs worth a reaction. Also every TOOL song is a gem you can't go wrong with reacting to any of them

You’re speaking truth! When you go back and hit the lyrics you’ll hear how Danny, Justin, and Adam built The Grudge rhythmically. Then Maynard figures it out lyrically. With headphones now check out Eulogy. Mesmerizing build pulls you in before it explodes.

If you like the drop, two other of their songs, Jambi and Invincible, have great ones as well. If you do continue with them, stay away from Lost Keys/Rosetta Stoned until you're really ready for them. Fun reaction to watch. Thanks!

Tool is obviously much heavier but, I have always felt like they give me a similar vibe to Pink Floyd. Where they are exploring with sounds and time signatures, guitar effects, etc.

Eclips. The drums are 11s 9s 10s interspersed with 4s. Yea it is wicked complicated. You get something like a 33/16 beat but the intervals give several different phrasings. What I can't figure out is how the hell does the lead guitar keep that in his head. Or Maynard.
