Yes, agree. I've done it a few times in Europe and USA. Now my brain switches over pretty much right away. Need to concentrate on going the right way around roundabouts though. I have ended up on the wring side of the road (momentarily) on a couple of occasions: once in Germany, I pulled up to a great view on the left side of the road, got out to take a picture and just drove off on the left side and once in France, I did a U turn and ended up on the left side.

Great memories evoked of a (hire car) tour of Tuscany some years ago. Back then I found an App leading me to all the 'picture postcard' views of Tuscany, and had a great day or two following the route and getting great photo after great photo; it's so photogenic but knowing the top photo locations just made it even better. Looking forward to getting back to that area in my motorhome before too long! Will look forward to the next instalment(s).

It looks nice there. I can't remember touring Tuscany; been to most places. Spain 1961 and Italy in 1962; my dad was an intrepid explorer when I was a kid, and whenever he had a new car we'd up sticks and go touring.
