Thanks Andrew, so uplifting. Our first campervan trip in a hired VW California Ocean included a trip on the RHDR to Dungeness. Love seeing Ted cuddled up with Dougal. Ted certainly likes the water. Looking forward to part 2, our kneck of the woods. ❤️🚐🐾😀 xxx

Great video , glad you and your partner and the doggies are out enjoying a well earned break , and you seem to have hit it good with the weather , our temparatures this summer over here have barely been above 20 degrees with quite a few showers most days , with climate change we rarely get wall to wall sunshine and blue , blue skies now , never mind !! Have always wanted to visit Dunguness , seems a wonderful place , so different and ethereal , bet your partner just loved it there , unique sort of place methinks , lucky men , all 4 of you 😊❤ look at those skies , wow , great magical train journey , still want to buy one of those suitcase trains , thank you Andrew as always , you are a gem 😊❤

Hi Andrew , not going to lie but I was really sad when you left Scotland as it is a beautiful place and our favourite but you really know where to visit more local to you . Totally get the chilled out vibe as last time we visited the outer Hebrides loved it but due to recent health issues and time restrictions were shattered when returned home . Sometimes it is relaxing to find places closer to home . Dungeness looks fascinating, very unique and you really are great at filming . Glad to see you so happy and the dogs I think get more cute ( if that’s possible) maybe with more time in the future you and your partner and dogs will get to visit Scotland and take us along ( please 🤣) look forward to your next vlog 😊x

Ah hah! A fellow Hueligan! It’s perfect for taking on the road isn’t it? My youngest son converted me a few years ago and I’ve been a fan ever since. Pleased you went to the Orchard in Grantchester as it’s surprising how many people aren’t aware of it.

Ha ha, yes! Huel is useful for the 1/10 days I don't have time to meal prep for work - and the odd night in the caravan :)

I think you all had a nice time, even Dougal 😊. That looked like a lovely day out. Sadly my dog absolutely hates steam trains. She wasn’t happy with the sound of that one coming from my iPad 🙁
@andrewjditton3 ай бұрын
Oh dear! Dougal is the opposite - fine on a steam train and not so good on a modern train!

Lovely video as always. 😊 May I ask if your EV6 is AWD or RWD? I would like one for towing. Just wondering if the AWD is worth the extra for towing?
@andrewjditton3 ай бұрын
Mine is the RWD, which I got for the slightly better range. To be honest, not once would AWD have been an advantage but I have avoided muddy fields ;)

Hi Andrew. I recently had Air Con problems with my Diesel Campervan. I was wondering how Aircon works in an Electric Car. Cheers from old George and Jane.
@andrewjditton3 ай бұрын
All I can say is, it works very well!
@MakeDoAndMend13 ай бұрын
@@andrewjditton Many thanks. I know mine drops the engine revs when it's on and It's also noticeable when overtaking vehicles. Loads the engine quite a lot. I reckon it takes about 5hp from engine which equates to 4kw. We are off soon to Yorkshire and ride on some steam trains. Really looking forward to it. Take care and happy adventures from old George and Jane.

Hi Andrew, thanks once again for a lovely video. Always enjoy watching your travels and reviews. I have an off topic question if that’s ok? We are looking to get a pick up truck as my wife expands her family business. I remember you always had a silver Nissan Navara. Can I ask how you got on with it in terms of fuel economy ? We are undecided which pick up is good in terms of reliability but always thought the Nissan was better over the Ford. Any comments or experience share I’d be really appreciative. Thanks again and looking forward to your next video adventure ! P.S hi to Dougle and Ted!
@andrewjditton3 ай бұрын
It wasn't too bad - I got about 40mpg solo and 25mpg towing. When I investigated - a long time ago - the Nissan came out better than the Ford on power and torque. Remember I did a video a while ago comparing the older D40 I had with the newer NP300 you get now. Enjoy your truck!

I'd love to, but my job is safety critical so I have to remain focussed on the job when on duty, not to mention protecting the identity of the passengers. But hopefully I can do a 'day in the life of...' at some point.
