This is the meal plan I've been looking for. My husband and I don't want to go full carnivore but want to be animal based. I'm skeptical of long-term ketosis and we do really well on fruit, potatoes, rice and sourdough bread. I have no desire to get rid of those foods atm or probably ever lol. We have been focusing on getting rid of seed oils which are in so many things its crazy but we have been constructing a meal plan very similar to the one you're talking about! I'm excited to see your experience this month. This vlog was peak content for me right now and honestly you always have amazing videos! ✨

Hey girl! A low carb, animal based diet is one I have found to be the easiest and most satisfying to do. You get the best of both worlds in my opinion, and you naturally flow in and out of ketosis so you get the benefit of ketones without being in a permanent state of ketosis. Seeds/nuts and plant oils cause depression for sure. After cutting out all of the poison I feel so much better, physically and mentally

Missed you much this summer, I know you make sure to give your family your time but I still missed your vids 😉. I admire you and your lifestyle so much. Mine usually come pre-seasoned, but if they don’t I keep it simple with Redmond Real Salt, course ground pepper, and garlic powder. 🤗

Been on strict carnivore for years now. I eat three ribeyes a day, so I average between 2.5-3lbs a day. No alcohol (biggest problem) but I drink tea with the vital protein grass fed collagen peptides.

That's amazing!! Great job! I started going low carb/keto in 2020, and have been experimenting with different whole foods and macros to find what works best for me!

The Costco version on Kerrygold is cheaper and better. Also you should give what is called bread cheese a try as well as Halloumi cheese, if you’re in south Texas it’s sold in HEB and I’ve found it in Whole Foods. You just put butter in your pan and then the cheese and let it get golden brown and crisp on both sides, medium heat. You’re doing hyper carnivore which Lillie Kane on YT is doing minus a few things that you’re eating. Liking the channel thanks for the ideas

I have heard the Costco butter is amazing! Unfortunately I do not have a Costco membership but am considering getting one. I shop at HEB multiple times a week, so I’m going to get some Halloumi next time I go, sounds so good! I am subscribed to Lillie and love her channel! Thanks for watching!

Fruit isn’t animal based. Check out Bart Kay. He doesn’t come across well for many but he is an actually qualified on talking about this stuff.

I will check him out! I’m following the Animal Based 30 guidelines from Heart & Soil for this challenge which is why I’m including the fruit and honey. I know everyone has their own opinions and definitions for what an animal based diet is. I’m in the process of experimenting with different Whole Foods, while prioritizing animal fat and protein which is 80-90% of my whole diet, to see what suits my body and goals best. Surprisingly even with adding a little fruit and honey, I still am in ketosis and producing ketones daily. 🤷🏼‍♀️

@@SkierMan199 what dogma? Fruit is sugar it’s not needed but if you eat some and it’s not causing you problems (which you don’t truly know if it is or not) go for it, just be aware carbs aren’t need and our muscles prefer fat.

I am curious what makes him qualified or at least more qualified than Dr. Saladino? Please don’t think I’m being snarky - I am honestly curious. I know that Paul Saladino specifically calls his diet “animal based” to differentiate it from carnivore. He kind of came about this definition by looking at the fact that “plant based” people base most of their diet on plants but some chose to include dairy or eggs. So animal based is mostly meats with your choice to add some other things in. From Dr Saladinos website: “An animal-based diet consists of meat, organs, fruit, honey and raw dairy. It's primarily centered around animal foods like meat and organs. These are the foods our ancestors sought.”
