I’m in the military. Sprained my ankle 3 times in a matter of few weeks (grade 3) , did not have time to get it looked at. Now I’m facing the consequences, going on year 3, it has not healed. Sometime it doesn’t hurt as if it never happened, some days it’s constant pain

😂 I wish I knew about this during training. Rolled my same ankle 3 times on big loose rocks walking along a dried creek within 15 minutes on a night hike. Thing was swollen to the point where my boot almost didn’t come off. Even had to run at some point because I would have failed if I kept limping the entire hike.

7 months huh? That's an old one. Sounds like you should have some help you with some rehab and movement options to get rid of it. Normally having pain with an ankle turn is normal for weeks to months but not months on end. never broke any bones but i used to sprain my ankles a lot sometimes randomly my left ankle well pop out of place i can still walk and such but that ball joint as a click and something moving only goes back to normal once i randomly click it back in but hurts for a bit then goes away havent been able to get it to click back in

Hi, i sprained my ankle last dec 22, 2021. Until now, it is still painful. Before, i can pop my left ankle very easily using my other foot. But now, when i try inversion, and very near to pop it, it is very painful, and i cannot complete to adjust it. please help. I can also feel one nerve that is very painful to touch.

I sprained my ankle 8 months ago My mri report was Partial tear of atfl with mild associated fluid. I was on a bed rest for 2-3 months. But I still have some kind bump on my ankle . My ankle makes creaking sound like something is snapping. It hurts when I try to do squats. It is not flexible like the other one. I swells when I over walk . Sometimes hurts for no reasons . I do some of the exercise but I see not improvement. Will I ever get the full strength and ve pain-free? I can't bend my foot forward like we do in squats.

I had my ankle sprain 1 year ago and it still hurts sometime what should I do? I can't jog sometimes because my ankle hurts. I didn't do treatment or anything I just let it heal. So I try to go to the hospital to get xray and there are no broken bones or whats so ever the doctor said. But it still hurts sometimes what should I do doc pls help me :(

I sprained my ankle about once 3½ years ago (it was a bad one), and then again about 1½ years ago (relatively lighter sprain). After using a number of creams, massages, and home remedies (ayurvedic) my ankle still hasn't healed We've tried some doctors but they say there's apparently nothing wrong

I also have an athletic lifestyle and below my my left toe acts kinda like a shock absorbers. It’s so bad it’s started to effect my back as well. The place where my knee and shin connects also feels kind of out of place so does my ankle and and toe tbh

Will this work for inside the ankle sprain/injury like at the posterior tibial tendon. Its been few months since the injury. No bruise no swelling just lot of irritation once I walk. Nothing at the rest stage. Some inflammation in and around ankle. Don't want to get orthotics route or have expensive x-rays/scans. Do you think this could be scar tissue case and can you guys help with this i am in CA.

Skin rolling? That's taught in massage therapy. I never saw any benefit from it other than people thought they were being pinched.

@@Performance-Place-chiropractor yes and alcohol can be beneficial as well. Any type of blood movement is beneficial however skin rolling is going to bring very minimal amounts of blood to the area. You have more success with actually massaging the muscle and performing mobility exercises aka Range of Motion. Other than that I have left a chiropractors office in more pain then when I went in then you have some of them wanting to introduce traditional Chinese medicine into the practice saying if I rub under your big toe and it hurt you have problems with your lungs or if your toes are sore it's your sinuses. Studied , graduated and thought it was bullshit from square one. Not saying what you're doing is pseudo science but most of those techniques are just that. Placebo effect at best.
