I couldn’t understand as well at first why he would bring up such talk in a dating show that shouldn’t be that deep anyway. But maybe he really did worry about that when things started getting real and when he thought Seulki was already going all in for him, he wanted to give her an out.

She made right decision on basis of last talk and i feel it was good for everyone. But i must say Jinyoung and Sejun were mvp of show. They were best. I love their commentary on situations and I would love to see them on judges panel next season. Why not u guys invite them on ur dating show. Their personalities are so fun to watch.😂

@TRAVELER Jung Woo is like See Hoon from Season 1, Nothing but the consolidation price LOL! Sejun and So-e is the only breath of fresh air from this season, too bad they didn't get enough air time. You gotta give it to Misun she stuck with her heart till the end, unlike Seulki who traded in a real man, for a SIMP, because she had competition.

In my POV Se Jun is the full package he's tall, handsome, kind, funny, optimistic and a great dresser. To me he's definitely the moodmaker of Singles Inferno 2. Hope to see him in something else soon, where he can show more of his great personality.

Jinyoung lead that conversation asking Seulki what she was looking for in a romantic partner and even though Seulki took a flirty turn to that convo he was talking about his real life worries about his instability because of money and how he wouldn't be able to take care as he is not there in life yet. He is wanted to signal his current position and mostly that's what Seulgi took as a sign of rejection (I don't blame her). I didn't see that convo as him playing any sort of game but actually have a real life convo. It takes a lot to bring that level of realness to a frivolous dating show.

Agree that he's being honest there, but why he talked about it? I mean if he was confused between Seulki and Minsu, then yeah okay if he brought up his concern to SK (bcs MS already quite established herself). But it was like 90+% SK, maybe 5-10% Nadine, and 0% MS, and both SK & Nadine are still students. IMO if he want to convey his concern to SK (to check whether she would be bother by it or not), I think it's better if he does it after being a final couple, as they are not automatically dating by the end of the show so they can still talk lots of things before making the decision to date or not. He brought up that topic only caused a confusion and doubt to SK.

@@damblebee1253 I believe it’s better to reveal your true self to the person interested in you especially about the financial status or time commitments before they make their decision. JY definitely does not want to deceive SK and want her to have a good life. So he told her about what does concern him if he commits in relationship with her. It helps SK let go of confused feeling and go for what works best for her.

@@damblebee1253 Jinyoung based on a show that I saw him in: He was on a survival show called Bloody game which I saw last year. His personality had a lot more dimensions on that show. He is very masculine in the sense he was thriving with the physical games and he had a lot of authority and sway with the contestants. He was someone who always had a upper hand in the game. The girls on the show loved him ( no surprise).This is a brutal game where they have to eliminate each other for money in the end. He came so close to the end and just because he didn't perform a game well he self eliminated even though he was not going to be voted off. This was a weird decision considering the nature of the game which was survival. It just ended up showing how much pride he had in himself that he wouldn't himself continue in the game. He was someone who was proud that he had principles in a game where you needed to manipulate players. Knowing him from this show has given me a lot of clarity with his convo with Seulki. No he was not trying to play around in that convo or have commitment issues. I can tell he wanted her to know and choose him despite his financial status. That is something clearly important to him. Someone like him who is very cautious about morals and principles would want to be clear before any kind of commitment.

Watching the Cast reunion review of the episodes, I don’t think So-e is over Young Jae yet but needs to pretend because her feelings are not returned. At least she managed to fool many of the audience and avoids looking pathetic. Poor Sejun but he has high self esteem to be affected.

Another thing that might have turned Seulki off is when Jin-Young put her on the spot and asked if she likes the date with him or with JW better, in front of the whole group. He became so pushy just like how DW was on the date with Seulki. Jin-Young acted so bizarre toward the end of the season. He is known to be blunt but thoughtful, up until the last episode then he seemed to loose it. It almost feels like the director sent him in as an actor to stir things up a bit, and he wasn' t there to find a partner.

@@fast-tracktravels1916 lol true, but dragging your love interest into the talk against your opponent was not a sharpest move. Still, IMO, I think JY won in a sense, as the intense scene he had with Seulki in the pool became quite iconic, no one can deny they were into each other.

From a guys perspective, I think he saw jong woos previous question as a bold move. Certainly it would have got my back up as a form of attack - "did you know we were fighting for the same prize at that moment". Especially as he lost and JW knew that. And I felt he had to respond in a one-upmanship.

about se jong trying to sabotage seulki and jinyoung, i kind of felt the same thing...all the girls were trying to sabotage them and seulki obviously looked upset but they didn't stop....the boys specially yongjae and dongwoo also kind of did a similar thing with jinyoung when he returned from paradise with minsu..

Ikr, I thought they had beef to seulki because jin young was very popular guy. They didn't care about seul ki's feeling whn they said jin young & minsu were matched, jin young taking care of minsu (but we knew he's not). And Jin young couldn't expressed & explained his feeling to seul ki. So, she felt some uncertainty from him that's why she picked JW. After they watched the all eps, I'm still hoping that jin young & seul ki are couple in real life 🤞

Seulki had already dated the guys she liked and had known everyone.....whereas Ji young came late and all the girls wanted to talk to him and date him.....he also wanted to know everyone else....i think Ji young is mature while taking decision...he felt he is still unstable with his job and becasue he loved suelki he let her go......

From strictly a GAME standpoint, I can appreciate Jong Woo's persistence and competitive spirit. Let's be honest, Jin Young was steam rolling through pretty much the entire male cast and things came very easy for him. Without Jong Woo giving resistance and trying like hell to "win"; the show would have been boring. The JW Seulki JY love triangle; Se-Jun & So-e and Yoo Jae/Seo eun were the main highlights for me in S2. In a real life situation obviously Jong Woo's actions were cringe/"simp" worthy😬 but there was limited time and he did end up winning some prize money along with the other 2 matched up couples so it's somewhat understandable. I will say from a personal POV; I did end up rooting for Jong Woo in the last 3 eps after expecting SK/JY to be endgame....say what you will about JW but he was relentless, never gave up and stayed true to his word so that much is admirable. I do believe long term Jong Woo is more compatible with Seul Ki personality wise and I can easily see her fall for him in the long run however there is no denying that SK and JY had an instant spark and chemistry that may or may not have fizzled out long term.

I don't agree with you. Nothing came easy to him. It's not like he clapped and everything was served on plate for him. When he came he won game. Bcs of his charms, personality and everything he won others' hearts. Even that mud game he was the one who initiated and made game intense otherwise other guys were not geveb going to attack. Bcs of him eliminations and intensity of game increased both on and off field. So saying that without Jong woo it would be boring. Wow did we watched same show!!

Definitely agree that this season was better than season 1, especially the second half. What a nail-biter! I do wonder if Seulki's choice was more of a rebuke to JY than actual fondness for JW, especially since most of these "couples" don't last much longer than the trip to the mainland. I can respect her choice because I know I'd feel that petty streak if someone told me they weren't sure they'd choose me because my job prospects weren't sufficient; even if she doesn't really feel attracted to JW, the opportunity to dis JY publicly must have felt good at the time. And, like you said, it's attractive to feel wanted/desired. I don't know if dating the nice guy with whom you have limited chemistry ever really works in the end, though.

What was thought about Jinyoung situation was that he knew girls were giving him attention but seulki had made a huge impact on him so he was trying to talk with other girls as well to maybe get to know other girls and give them a chance, and nadine clearly made some kind off impression on him, Nadine and Jinyoung did not looked all flirty though were fun to watch together, like Nadine was not even expecting Jinyoung to pick her for the final date. For me I think Seulki was already getting more inclined towards jongwoo after ep 6, and both of seulki and jinyoung being busy didnot help, while on the other hand jinyoung was consistent, and I really think Jinyoung made his decision between Nadine and Seulki depending on the answer he asked as he asked both of them what kind of relationship do they want and Nadine said She wants someone to be support her and be with her something like that while seulki said a person with nice smile or something, I really think this was the point jinyoung decided, which was funny in a way hahaha cause at first I thought he was straight for seulki but he kept on answering questions of nadine and seulki in a way he shouldnot have and then he stated he is not sure so he spent time with both of them and chosed seulki but basically had to leave alone hahah, Well I do think Seulki made the right decision for her.

You articulated everything on my mind so well. I too think Nadine's and Seulki's answers were the point that triggered Jin Young's decision! I can completely feel he was somewhat into Nadine too. I can't tell how much Seulki and Jinyoung's intense chemistry could translate to a relatively more long-term relationship (precisely because Seulki was difficult to figure out as a person), but Nadine and Jinyoung seemed to be going along quite well. He wouldn't ask her about her preferences about relationships if he didn't see the possibility there. Anyways, I thoroughly enjoyed the show and I think I can somewhat understand why each of the contestants decided on the choices they did, especially Jinyoung, after having watched the other stuff he does on KZbin!😆

i dont think he likes Nadine that “way”. He got curious of Nadine because of what Hanbin ang Dongwoo said about her proffesion. Jinyoung being a gentleman didint directly said to Nadine he has no choice but Nadine understood it when Jinyoung said that he cant pick the one he wants to be with. The paradise with Nadine doesnt have impact to him thats why he tried to talk to Seulki for a long hours but Seulki doesnt want Jinyoung said on that time. You can see on her face that She seems off (same face when they talked to makeup room). She got turned off to Jinyoung and she already decided in the campfire who will she choose. If Jinyoung like bot Nadine and Seulki he will not let Nadine go alone. As what you said JY asked both Nadine and Seulki about having relationship etc. Nadine has the best answer. Seulkis answer is naaahh. But Jinyoung still choose her because from the start its still Seulki.

Well if you go back to episode 1, they are each other’s ideal types… Seulki (delicate and sheltered piano major) likes a sensitivand caring person who she can be comfortable with as her ideal type; and she hinted at being a fun person when she’s relaxed. Jung woo likes ladies with nice eyes and he has never invested or expressed his emotions in his previous girlfriends … this is him being vulnerable… Jung woo is cuter than 99% of the guys in SNU… I think he checked a box interested in after she found he wasn’t an actor or model or idol trainee, which clearly shows her family likes to stay away from the limelight

Perhaps it’s just through a western lens in which we perceive relationships based on sexual tension first? She did touch him gently here and there (see campfire scene) so at least she doesn’t find him physically ick. She sat next to him the following day and passed comments knowing his reaction to Hanbin’s age. Emotionally and mentally there was more connection with JW than JY. She complained endlessly that she couldn’t “read” JY at all…

Sejong def was trying to sabotage Seulki and Jinyoung. I think the show got to her confidence so she lowkey lashed out at Seulki when she was at her most vulnerable (plus Sejong liked Jinyoung too). It surprised me not a lot of other people caught it bc it really stood out to me. Now I don't feel too bad at her for not going to paradise. It's very obvious that it's not her appearance, but her personality which turned off the guys.

JY definitely not ready to commit a relationship with SK because he thinks about his current financial situation. And before joining this show, he is looking for some one attracted to him also have already stable job. That’s why he is so reluctant to express himself to SK. It’s just bad timing. Meanwhile SK is still young and just focus on her study and she comes from good background so she can not fully understand what’s running in JY’s head at the last moment they talked. Appreciated that JY is realistic and not afraid of admitting his shortcomings/ difficulties. However I just wish him to be upfront from beginning and share his thoughts to SK so they can build the trust and understanding each other better. Overall, she made a good choice to go with JW. But not sure it can develop to become romantic relationship.

From my POV, the producers might have something with SK final decision. She's already getting slammed on social media and if she were to choose JY, it would be Hell for her since people will say she took advantage of JW (kept him as a backup) and that she led him on throughout the season. This is a situation where the ''Nice Guy'' wins and it's getting praised by everybody (Ji-a final decision was in the same line where the hopeless romantic wins). It might also be for the surprise factor since the majority were already on the SK and JY bandwagon (I literally screamed and she picked JW). It is clear as night and day that SK is attracted to JY the moment he came mid-season. There was literally no sparks and sexual tension with JW. The body language and EVERY interaction when she's with JY or JW is a clear tell. JW actions towards her seems a little bit too obsessives and will be a turn off eventually. It might be cute at the beginning of a relation, but it is really tiresome to have someone that cares way too much of what you do. To be in a relationship with someone, you must be physically attracted to someone and SK and JW looks like they are just good friend (good that you mentioned that rash guard moment since I haven't even noticed ; there's no way that SK didn't bring a bikini in a her suitcase lol). Like any other series, the hype will die down and if she were to break up with JW eventually, nobody will care (even though we will all have our answers).

I feel like Jongwoo's innocents makes him misunderstood, dude literally came to the show because a Monk told him he should. I f lt seulki fell in love with that innocence and wanted to protect it that's why I'm one scene she tell Jongwoo not to be nervous after chatting with jinyong. I also noticed seulki sticked next to Jongwoo when ever they sat down in a group setting

Likewise, I think Seulki is someone who likes to be independent, despite her cutesy appearance she’s tough. That’s why Dong-Woo completely turned her off, he thought she was to be coddled. Jongwoo took care of her but also gave her space to shine. She was the one who suggested swimming, who led the date and decided what food to eat. I think Seulki is very confident, and that’s probably why she didn’t appreciate Jin-young “playing around with her”.

I believe that Seulki made the right decision and I hope that she gets to appreciate him. I also believe that sometimes we don't realize how good a person is to us because of all the noise and distractions around us, but once we block all those distractions we can fall in love with the person who deserves our love. Last but not least, I don't think that Jin-Young is ready for a serious relationship.

I don't think Jinyeoung played games with Seulki. He always chose her, he went to paradose with Minsu because he had no choice, he did not choose her. And then he went with Nadine because Seulki was already taken. He gave her signs showing her he is still interested, he even hinted that he doesn't want to go the second time with Minsu...

His actions didn’t play games but seulki asked him again and again to give her reassurance, to ask who he chose, etc, and he never gave her a straight answer. To us, it’s obvious because we can see everything but to her, he’s always with other girls.

I even think she was imagining the finale scene ahead of time and thinking 'oh my, what if no one chooses me, what if I'm left there standing all alone'? She can't stand not to be chosen by anyone, so she jumped all over Jong Woo. Jong Woo didn't want to see that she was giving him attention just because Jinyeong was gone to paradise wit another girl...

But saw your two reviews and got a better idea and yes I agree she did the right thing for choosing the safe and nice guy then the person who just gives sparks but no reassurance at all. Also it seems the nice guy actually was emotional when the girl chose him showing his emotions were true. So good for both of them(only if it is not scripted😅

I think that MinSu must have confided in Se-Jeong to tell her what happened during her two dates in Paradise with Jin- Young. Se-Jeong probably was trying to help Minsu out by influencing Seul-ki. I think there is more to the story with Jin- Young and MinSu especially because at the end he said to Minsu we should go out for dinner sometime on the outside when he hugged her at the end. And becuase if the comment that MinSu was “ having a break down” at the end.

I felt that when Seulki cried to Jong Woo was because of jealousy when Jinyoung went to Paradise with Minsu who was trying to get Jinyoung’s attention because she knew that he was into Seulki. Seulki mentioned during her last conversation with Jinyoung that she’s mad might be because of jealousy also with Nadine bragging that she had a good time with Jinyoung as she’s trying to get his attention, too. ‘Sorry for the other girls coz Jinyoung ❤ Seulki. I was so disappointed watching the last episode 😢.

Agree about sejeong which led to me really not like her much. Suspect that's why a lot of the guys were initially attracted to her and then ended up going for someone else - that sort of personality trait is an immediate turn-off.

Almost all of them commented that they felt bad about Sejong, why did the guys not chose her, it must be because of beauty standard...etc. But there was something caught my mind. As much as I remembered, initially there were two guys interested in her. So i dont think its about "beauty standard". Because two guys found her attractive. Yet after interaction, they changed their mind. So whats happened? Also, JY clearly has a bit interest in her too. When the first time he came, although he chose Seulki and Soeun in the beginning, but he was not as interested in Seulki like after their paradise. He talked with other girls as well to vibe out the girls. His interest to Sejong also quickly died down. I could say this bc the recent video pf the cast watching and reacting the episodes together, Jinyoung stated that he would sent a secret letter to Sejong if he were there from the beginning. So, i just wondered, what happend behind the scenes? Why did the guys change their mind? Clearly it was not bc "beauty standard". Was she boring? Not a lot of people questioned this. And i actually didnt like her much from the start.

I have to disagree with you. JinYoung wasn't playing games. He was interested in SeulKi but he was basically saying that he wouldn't always be around. that he has a life. SeulKi did not want to hear that. She clearly wanted a guy that was ALL about her and that she could control - that was JungWoo. She even said in one episode that she's never not gotten what she has asked for. JinYoung was a challenge to her and that is what she found interesting but that is also what she did not want. I hope JungWoo has found someone who is actually into him.

For me, SK and JY had major communication problems. They kept beating around the bush, especially JY, which made SK very very insecure. Don't get me wrong, I really really liked JY, and I also found him intriguing and interesting, but he should have expressed more what he was feeling. I remember a scene where SK said that she hadn't seen JY the whole day. JW kept being consistent and reliable and honest, so I was rooting for him and SK because I thought he was the guy she deserved. Another point is that although Se-jun didn't have the sexy visuals of Cha Hyun Seung, he was without a doubt memorable. I was rooting for So E the whole time, and he was cute and confident and funny with his decisions towards her. Plus, he is just too funny and friendly! I really hope they are still getting to know each other (and dating).

And JY is not even on inferno enough to spend more time with SK. Jin young , he’s a free spirit and on many occasions he’s said it’s one of his drawbacks that he can’t express himself. The guy tried and he saw himself as unstable (job-wise), he expressed a little bit of his insecurities about his future. Too bad suelki didn’t get it. It’s difficult for people to understand guys like him, but according to what I saw of him in the show I feel he’s honest, doesn’t make hasty decisions just cuz he’s insecure. Takes a stand when he needs to. Above all things he was worried about how he’d take care of his girl if he’s still unstable, that goes to show he thought things through seriously, not just during/for the show. He’s mature. Don’t be so hard on him viewers, he’s damn goofy (if you watch his KZbin vlogs, or videos of his twitch streams you’ll know what I mean😂) Through this show everyone saw him as a bad boy , or a red flag, please watch him on KZbin and you’ll know that he’s such a goofball , beneath all that hard exterior he’s all mush. People like him do get misunderstood like that . Anyway In my opinion I prefer seulki and jinyoung, she saw him as a challenge and I guess found that scary. And you’re right JW gives a more friendship vibe (again not saying she made a bad choice by going with him) and regarding what you mentioned about sejong stiring the pot kinda made seuki insecure. And lo and behold JW became the shoulder she could lean on. And JY is definitely a player who was messing with her mind. On top of that, given what she most likely plans to do in life, having this unrefined & "dangerous" fella will not help her at all. Great review although surprised that you didn't cover off on the men's battle Royale. I was surprised that Dong Woo went after Jong Woo from the beginning as it sounded like in the tent they were going to team up. My opinion, Youngjae and Seoeun are it, I also wanna know if they are still dating… if so they need to get married and have some pretty kids lol Jongwoo and Seulki: I also understand Seulkis decision, it’s really just a week and shorter than that for her and Jin-young. Also, Seulki relied on Jongwoo a lot emotionally in inferno. They can talk for hours, he wipes her tears, she sits beside him at the campfires. Seulkis personality shines with Jongwoo whereas with Jin-young she doesn’t know what to do with herself. I’ve also been in that situation and chose the nice guy versus the mysterious guy that messes with my head. People need to ask their married parents…most of the time the nice guy wins. Everything was going smooth between Seulki and Jinyoung, their infectious sizzling chemistry with their ever flirtatious convo to the water source until he fumbled that he hadn’t made up his mind and had 2 people on his mind with some ambiguous reasonings at the last minute!!! He surely broke her heart but she played it cool and that was it. Obviously Seulki is a smart girl, Women hate men who waste their time and his answer ruined it for us all the viewers that were rooting for him!. Overall Jinyoung carried this season on his shoulders, he was the main character and we loved his unusual personality, we wanted him to win but he F-ed up unexpectedly knowing he had Seulki wrapped around his finger unfortunately he couldn’t have his cake and it too!

Reason why jinyoung he had two option was because he wasn’t sure of seulki feeling for him for the fact jungwoo was with seulki 80% of the time while he was chased and pulled on the side by other women. That’s why their love interest is a conflicted one. If any man see his love interest spending most of her time with another man alone it’ll leave them to second thoughts thinking maybe I’m not the one. Also she didn’t give the answer he was looking for when he asked. Which made him unsure of her feeling for him. Jy doesn’t know why she like him he She just said he’s on her mind. I also understand 100% why Seulki made that decision... I mean to be charitable, I get why Jinyoung was having doubts - he spent less time with everyone and also his chemistry with Nadine was surprisingly good...The guy does have the right to be torn a little bit... but since it's a limited amount of time and that was the final episode, he couldn't afford to be in doubts... so I would do the same - if I were her, and I had two other guys who were sure about their feelings for me I would go with one of them. *Guys:* 1) Young-jae: initially my favourite but after sometime, dropped in my ranks cause he kept beating around the bush and could not be openly honest with So-e. Also he made some really cringe comments with So-eun like "I will not wash my hand" when they locked hands and some other comments too with her in some other episodes which I can't remember rn but yeah 😬 2) Dong-woo : became my least favourite cause he gave false hopes to Nadine before their first paradise selection, was pressurising Seul-ki a bit during their date in paradise, still kept pursuing her after she rejected him and his comment in the tent to Jin-young "It's good you did not hear" when he was talking with Jongwoo like 🙄 3) Se-jun: second favourite guy. His first impression was not impactful and I thought he would be boring and quiet but later he grew on me and after checking his insta, I strongly feel he should have kept his long hair and come on the show like that cuz he looks SO FINE in those pictures damnnn 🫠 4) Hanbin: the only guy who's a green flag in the pool of 'one-person only'. Did not pressurise nor simp, just enjoyed his time there and respected So-eun's feelings. 5) Jin-young: first impression was not impactful and I thought he looked alright appearance wise but after his date with Seul-ki, he became my favourite contestant. At first I couldn't understand why he was the popular one but as the show progresses, you get to see his charms. I like how he's honest about his thoughts and even while rejecting (Min-su), he does it politely and with honesty. He should have given assurance to Seul-ki about his feelings for her which is a major reason why he lost. Another factor is that they barely got to see each other after their date in paradise which further distanced them. Still I was rooting for him till the end. 6) Jong-woo: he's just Si-hun pt.2 (from S1) but successful lol. His simping worked basically. Also, sometimes I feel like he was emotionally blackmailing Seul-ki like in the pool he said "I am preparing myself to not get hurt" like it's true and understandable but he should have kept that to himself. *Ladies:* 1) So-eun: feels the most mature contestant out of all the people present there. Honestly, I was not expecting her to choose Hanbin for her second date for paradise which really surprised me and made me like her even more. Like she was really appreciative of his feelings for her despite not liking him romantically which was nice to see. 2) Se-jeong: I was rooting for her initially when she kept shooting her shot with Young-jae but after that her character just fizzled out. She just gave up pursuing anyone after that or she wasn't really pursuing strongly like the other girls. 3) Nadine: first half of the show she was alright but in the second half she really picked up on her game. It was good to see her step out of her comfort zone. Also, am I the only one who felt like she was agreeing with everything Jin-young was saying during their date in paradise just to please him? It was kind of funny lol 4) Min-su: tonned-down version of So-e lol. Not that impactful, both appearance and personality wise. She definitely cannot read the room or maybe chooses not to, idk. 5) Seul-ki: initially she wasn't my favourite because she was very reserved during her date with Dong-woo (I was like why did she choose to go with him if she's gonna be acting this way but later I understood when she rejected him) but became my favourite when I saw her and Jin-young's paradise date. I really don't understand alot of the hate she got because I don't see anything wrong with any of her actions except for the choice she made lol. It feels like she went with her head and not heart 🫤 I was so confident that she's considering Jongwoo as her second option incase Jin-young doesn't choose her or she's using him to make Jin-young jealous (that was the first time I was starting to dislike her because I believed she was leading him on for no reason) but girlie really turned the tables 😵‍💫 I still feel she should have chosen Jin-young. All she needed was that assurance or confirmation from him *sigh* 6) So-e: I was cringed out with her trying to act all cutesy in front of Young-jae. You could literally sense how uncomfortable she made Young-jae by telling him how sad she felt when he did not choose her (I was like how many times will you tell him please stop). Did not like how she asked So-eun for advice when she was confused about whom to take to paradise like that seemed like a bitch move to me. I disliked her alot initially but the second half of the show changed my opinion. I'm glad she decided to move on from Young-jae and accept Se-jun. She's the only one who showed growth in this show.

Anna, I'm an educator. I've taught a dating and relationship course, and in preparing for it reading a lot of the psychology of attraction, human beings tend to pick those that....make them look good/stroke their ego/make them feel good about themself/increase their status points (at least in their mind). A real good example of this is the CEO male coupled with the bombshell model female (ie trophy wife-type). I never thought Seul-ki and Jin-young seemed suited to each other, but for Seul-ki I could understand the attraction, as he was that Uber-sexy-bad boy-type that maybe wasn't usually attracted to her, but in this specific instance was so she went for it. In the end though, I think as you stated she went for someone who showed commitment and I'm glad she did. Besides Hanbin, Se-Jun was my favorite. These two guys seemed to really have the personalities, but the show didn't give them enough air time to show it because they didn't have the "beef-cake" physical quality the other guys had. All in all it was a good show, but not nearly as entertaining as Ramyun & Chill. I love your take on the panel's fashion!!! I kept saying "What's with that red-bling-bow-jacket-thing....it's too distracting...my eyes, my eyes!!!" Thanks for commentary. I ALWAYS find your opinion valuable and worth the time!

I don't think Jin Young made it clear for everyone he was just into Seul-Ki at all. The whole cast kept saying they didn't know what he was thinking. And clearly Seul-Ki didn't know either since she kept being confused about where he stood and he never gave her the confirmation that he was actually into her that she needed. Let's not forgot that they didn't talk at all more or less for a few days after going to Paradise together, which would confuse anyone. When she asked him after the wrestling game who are you going to take to paradise if you can't take me, he didn't tell her: "Someone I like as a friend" or something similar to show her that he has eyes for her, he told her "Someone I'm interested in". The last night she more or less confused that she liked him and his answer was "I'm still haven't decided who I'll pick tomorrow" and even in the very end where he finally said he liked her, his words where: "I THINK I like you". It's not good enough. Their chemistry is great, but I can't fault her for choosing another guy at that point. He's a walking Red Flag telling her he is going to get hurt.

Season 2 i watched bcs of popularity of season 1 which i didn't watched at all. Honestly first two episodes were boring but Jinyoung came and boom game changed. Whatever everyone's opinion on this guy but he was the GOAT of this season. He brought so much fun and excitement. But best part of him was his honesty. Whether it's girls or guys he answered honestly to every question,he wasn't afraid to show his true feelings either to accept defeat or showing feelings which was not easy things to do. Sejun was cherry on top. He brought fun moments in show. Soe was kinda annoying to me when she would create such awkwardness with Yoong jae although I loved her honesty but sometimes it was too much. But second half she and Sejun made such wonderful chemistry. Seulki i started liking afterwards not from start bcs she showed much of her personality after Jinyoung came. I could see her emotions correctly. Lack of communication was huge issue in their relationship. They didn't spend much time after paradise. And Jinyoung was still giving just hints and also he was honest of his worries on dating her so Seulki went for safer option where she got reassurance. But seriously Jong woo face always in alert mode as if going to battlefield and he won but even then he made me little annoyed even in last episode. Honestly I could understand everyone perspective and i think whatever choice they made was wise and good for everyone. I am most happy about this season bcs of casting like how they brought everyone from different backgrounds. Jinyoung and Sejun were mvp of show. Their commentary was best. I want these two be the in judges panel in next season. Nadine was my fav girl. Yoong jae - Seo eun and Soe- Sejun my fav couples. Hanbin best guy. Hope next season would be more fun.

What i didn't like in both seasons is, that we see a lot of small talk between the couples who go to paradise and a lot of awkward talking while carrying their luggages. But it lacked the deep talk. I kind of feel like we watched them chose their meals and eat and couldn't really watch them getting to know each other. And it felt repetitive every time someone went to paradise. I get it that they try to promote the hotel. But I didn't really have the feeling that much of a private talk was shown. The few extra scenes on youtube were far more interesting.

2:07 LOL, the 'mystery person' on the mat next to Sejeong is more obvious now. You can totally tell that they forgot to clone the striped pattern of the beach mat on it. It's just a blob of grey!!! Eagle-eye Redditors noticed that the Producers edited away Hanbin who was actually next to Sejeong. This scene was filmed BEFORE Hanbin went to Paradise, but producers decided to put that scene in that episode where Hanbin was in Paradise as a filler. So they had to remove poor Hanbin for continuity's sake.

The singles I liked were Park Se-jeong, Lee Nadine & Choi Seo-eun for the women & for the men, Kim Se-jun, Kim Han-bin & Jo Yoong-jae. They came across genuine, nice & sincere, without the fake drama that I felt from the others (unmentioned). Shin Seul-ki reminds me of a young Shannen Doherty from 90's tv series "Beverly Hills, 90210" b/c both Seul-ki & Shannen both have the slanted facial shape. I guess it's like their trademark features.

I agree the 2nd half is better. I find SeJun very attractive because he reminds me of Lee Min Ho. He looks even HOTTER with the long hair..bad boy vibes for sure. Rumor is he’s dating Nadine now. JinYoung was definitely the sexiest guy on the show. He’s so confident & mysterious. That’s why 4 of the 6 girls wanted him. I hoped he’d pick Nadine because they had so much in common. Nadine is an awesome girl. She’s pretty, smart & well-rounded. I mean the girl was in the ROTC, plays lacrosse, shoots guns, loves cars & motorcycles & is a pre-med student at Harvard! But he choose looks & sexual chemistry. He & Seul-Ki were attracted to each other but had nothing to talk about & nothing in common. I’m so glad SeulKi chose Jong Woo. She seemed more comfortable around him than JinYoung anyway. And how could she even think of picking JinYoung after Jong Woo’s victory. I thought Jongwoo was a little feminine because of his looks & subtle approach, but after that dugout battle he proved he was the most masculine guy there. He fought HARD for that girl😍 Also, he only had eyes for Seul-ki.

I luv Sejun too his comic moment was hilarious and no one expected it bec he has a cold visual but he is actually very caring and don't mind showcase his interest in 1 girl only - Soe. Didn't watch all ep but thx for recap the chat in the guy room. Didn't know that ha. Dongwoo and JW know they are no match to Jinyoung so they tried to team up. Glad u said something about Sejeong. All the girl is nice; however, she can't help but shown on her face her displeasure for not being pick. Soe was sad when YJ went on with others girls too but she doesn't her attitude much towards the girl. I can see that Seojeong is jealous. She prob thought she was the it girl when she got casted for the show but when she didn't know her big competitors were Soeun and Seulki. Both are Misses and have Korean genuine beauty. My fav still Nadine haha ❤️✊️ Seulki did the adult choice and chose someone stable and reliable. One that only have her in mind. Funny!! That she only said something to Jinyoung. Bye Dongwoo! 👋

I may be the only one happy that Seul-ki did not end up with Jin Young…not that I prefer Jin Woo as I don’t like guys this emotional even less than 10 days(he will be prone to be that possessive husband texting 50x/day to ask where the wife is, what she’s doing,etc). Instead, I’m more interested in Nadine’s and JY ‘s friendship stronger. I’m even hoping for a platonic collaboration vlog with him visiting Boston, an afternoon at the shooting range, watching an F1 race, JY giving Nadine that motorcycle ride as promised. They are comfortable with each other, laughing together. Who knows?Nadine might even be able to inspire him to enter University or the like.

When I watched your first video reviewing this season and saying it wasn’t as good as the first season, I was baffled. Me looking at you sideways, like girl…you’re a producer! How did you not enjoy this season? Here I was thinking you and I were not on the same vibe. 😆 But, I’m glad you watched further because this season was awesome. Se-Jun was bae for me the second he walked onto the scene, so please wait in line. 😆 I loved the cast this season 100x more than the first season. I found them more relatable. By the end of the season, the only participant who I wasn’t feeling was Dong-Woo. I can swear that he is a walking red flag. I think casting did a phenomenal job because these participants are attractive, but their personalities made them even more likable (see Se-Jun). This is how you do casting right. It’s not just about appearance or surface-level personalities, but the producers were able to see the intrinsic value of each cast member. I’m sitting here wishing we could watch them after the show ended. That’s how much I’ve grown to appreciate them. I think that is what differentiates this show from others. Wishing you well with your own show.

I think in general everyone loved that Seul Ki chose Jong Woo, mainly because Jin Young sucked in the last two episodes. He, in addition to taking a step back when talking to her, also tried to expose her in front of everyone and then played the game of being on Nadine's side, which I don't really know if it was just the editing, because the cast was also shocked, even Seul Ki, by what felt like a long time at Nadine's side. Poor Nadine. Then he returned to Seul Ki laughing, confirming to me that he did it on purpose. Also, in the final meeting he seemed to be very cocky. Best Couple: So-e and Se-Jun Favorite character: Nadine
