This cold process soap project is easier than it looks. The batter is created with the Gentle Quick Mix, which is a palm-free combination of oils and butter. It gives you plenty of time to work with the soap batter and create your layers.

To help the soap harden, we did use a 10% water discount. We also highly recommend sodium lactate in this recipe - it's a salt solution that is added to the lye water to help cold process soap harden faster. We also recommend promoting gel phase by insulating this soap and placing it on a heating pad.
