I eat a tbs of amla powder and chia seeds every morning with my yogurt or oatmeal. And i rub amla powder with a little of warm water, as an exfoliant for my face at night, a few times a week. It makes your skin soft and bright and fades dark spots. Drink lots of water. I never put it in my hair because how gritty it is but ill try it with some oil and see how that works out.

@@friendoftheinternet Hi ! I have colored hair (dark copper with lighter ends) and I regularly use Amla, I gotta say it affects the color by making it a bit darker which I like because I want my ends to be less light. If you don't want to darken your hair, I suggest you to use other ayurvedic powder like Kapoor Kachli, Kachur Sugandhi an Fenugreek powder, they're my favorites ! There are other beneficial powders too, you can look them up and check if they affect colored hair. Hope it helps :)

*You can use olive oil to make your hair look good and feel healthy.* It is _no secret_ that heat styling makes it hard for you to grow new hair, but the oils found in *olive oil work as a protectant against those high temperatures* by creating a shield around natural keratin which _contains antioxidants, vitamin E, and oleic acid._ Olive Oil also has _anti-inflammatory properties which may help with treating dandruff too!_

@ui36864 жыл бұрын
@@anushanadeem2733 tricky question, I naturally have really black hair so I wouldn't be able to tell, but the oil has a green kind colour which I think would make your hair appear darker, in terms of the amala shampoo I haven't used so I wouldn't really know. If your looking to naturally lighten your hair I have some good advice.

@@ui3686 ofc thankyou I'd like to know. Actually the natural color of my hair is light ash brown and i want to switch to natural /organic shampoos and cleansers without damaging, drying or darkening them.
@ui36864 жыл бұрын
@@anushanadeem2733 one good trick that I have been doing for years is oiling my hair with olive oil. First method - I oil all my hair, soaking it in olive oil and leaving this for a couple of days, going out in the sun like this will attract more light and fasten the process of lightening,. When I go to sleep I would cover this with cotton fabric, so the pillow cases aren't destroyed. When washing I only apply shampoo and loads of this to wash all the access oil. I don't condition after this because the hair is well moistured. Second method - this method is probably more realistic as some people would not want to keep there hair oily for too long. So keeping the oil on for 1 hour and than washing, would be good aswell, but the results from method one for me are more better. P. S I personally like my hair darker, so i avoid the sun, but every time I have been under the sun, my hair colour does change to a lighter and redish colour tone. It may be important to mention that my hair type is thick, long and straighish, so what might work for me might not work for everyone. However I myself have been avoiding conditioner with siliconez for years. In terms of shampoo I switch quite a bit, but I always go for less chemically products. I hope this is useful
