I'm not sure exactly what style of music this song was, but they pulled it off, which is the most important thing. If this is the direction they're headed in, I'm here for it. I like this more than their pure deathcore stuff, and I'm usually all in on deathcore

Egg: my initial rating is 9.5 bc I wanna save myself more exposure to this band/song in order to either raise it or lower it. Yet if I gave this song a 10, I feel would be toooooo generous. My ONLY CON was the fact that they kinda played out the song too long. After that fake out ending, I was content if they ended there. Yet I wouldn't have gotten that bass riffage sooooo idkkkk I really want to give this song a 10/10 yet it's going to sit at 9.5 until otherwise

The song is fucking amazing but I do have a big complaint. The mixing feels like the vocals have been completely swallowed by the instrumentation, and while the vocals sound huge, there's not enough open space left in the music for them to come out and soar

I love this song but it's so hard to listen to, because of the mix. It sounds to me (maybe it's my headphones dunno, or it is the style of the band?) like they are playing behind a cardboard sheet. Especially the vocals are... that guy sings so good, yet he gets downed out by instruments. I don't need over polished front and center layered to the max vocals like a lot of bands do (I prefer it a bit raw), but I even have a very hard time understanding him while he sings clean. Either cardboard wall or like I have some bad hearing protection in. I just tried it again, but had to turn it off halfway through.
