EASY WIFI FIX: Choose the Pro, Enterprise or Education edition when installing (not the home edition) and there will be an option to install without internet. EXTERNAL MEDIA ERROR: Make sure you unplug everything except for your keyboard, mouse and USB installer from the computer or Bootcamp may give an error during the install saying it can't continue with external media attached. If you have less than 8 GB of RAM or a slower processor, you may need to use these REGEDITs as well (setting their value to 1): BypassRAMCheck BypassCPUCheck

Another helpful thing you might want to make a guide on: Post Windows 11 installation, the audio driver might not be installed so there will be no audio from the speakers. To find the Apple official documentation to reinstall the audio driver using the Boot Camp tool, Google for: "Download and install Windows support software on your Mac" The first Apple link document id 102465 should walk through the steps to install drivers on Windows 11 for mac.

For those trying to bypass the wifi part follow along right here I did this on my 2015 15in MacBook Pro Push Shift and f10 together Command promt should pop up, make sure you click on it as you might think your keyboard isn't working Soon after type this into it oobe\bypassnro After putting that push enter and it should reboot again as if you're setting it up with the language and etc. after continuing through it will now let you choose the option no wifi setup then it'll ask continue with limited access? (aka No wifi!) select it and there ya go! And that should do it continue on through with ease!

it is the same amount since your MacBook still has the same battery. It might be more or less depending on how many apps you have downloaded and things of that nature. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much. Following your instructions, I was able to install Win11 on my Late 2014 Mac Mini! One thing I ran into was an infinite loop where the installer asks me to plug in an Ethernet cable or connect to WiFi. Although the MacMini has an Ethernet port, Win11 must have been missing the drivers. I press Shift-F10 to get to the terminal. I then cd to D:\BootCamp and ran Setup.exe from there. It set up all the drivers and I was able to proceed smoothly afterwards.

No you cannot. M1-M3 model Macs do not have boot camp. Only intel model Macs. You could use something like Parallels Desktop to run windows.

I installed a bunch of Windows updates when I first upgraded so I there is no problem there. As for the ISO issue, I'm not sure what's going on. I actually did this installation with Sonoma 14.3 and it went fine. What specific message are you getting and at what point during the installation process. Make sure both checkboxes are checked when building your installer. May want to wipe the flash drive first.

I think if the Win10 ISO stored somewhere on your machine it will find it and not let you change it. If you delete the Win10 ISO it will then ask you to browse for one, at which point it will let you select the Win11 ISO file.

Well, you should be able to get past that part but, for Macs earlier than 2012, you will stopped later on anyway because the drive is not in GPT format. Maybe that is the reason for the error. For Macs made before 2012 a third party tool is needed to reformat the Drive using GPT.

This method depends on the version of Boot Camp Assistant. If you are using version 6.1.0 or later, which comes with macOS Ventura, you cannot continue with Boot Camp Assistant while the USB memory stick is inserted.

This won't work for Macs earlier than 2012 because the drives are not in GPT format. You would need to use a third party tool to reformat the drive as GPT beforehand.

If it does I'm experiencing some issues downloading the "Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO) for x64 devices" It gives me a pop up that reads "Validating your request. This may take several minutes. Do not refresh the page or select back, doing so will cancel the request." And no matter how long I wait on that screen it just disappears after a bit and I haven't downloaded it yet I'm also on Sonoma 14.5, have an Intel Core, and I have 178.46 GB left available in storage if that helps

I tried this procedure on my iMac 27 2020 but it doesn't work, this version of mac does not require external USB. Bootcamp asks to partition the disk, selects the Windows ISO, but stops when downloading the drivers and displays the message "Software cannot be installed because it is not currently available from the software update server". You can't even prevent it from downloading the drivers and inserting them later.

Hi there, I have a MacBook Pro with Sonoma 14.2.1 (23C71). Could it be that with the latest iOS Version boot camp assistant doesn't use a USB stick anymore? I got to the point were I downloaded Wind11-IS0 file. After having started boot camp assistant it jumps to a screen where the ISO file is to be selected and partition size to be designed. There ist no step involving an USB file for some reason. Boot camp assistant takes the file directly from my hard drive where I downloaded it to. Before that it says that it removes old Time Machine snap shots. All seems to work quite fine though. However, installing Windows Support Software then quits with error message "Can’t install the software because it is not currently available from the Software Update server." Looks for me that Win11 is no longer supported for bootcamp. Do you have any advice what to do?
