Great video, jumping rope was my way to start to do the thing, I lost a lot of weight, I was 115 kg and now im 80kg and building muscle going to the gym, I also start running, but jumping rope was the thing that change my life and im going to continue with it. Dan is a great inspiration, thanks for all the videos.

SideNote: Best recovery for older community - Always Stretch. Thank you for the motivation. I had some health issues in the past 2 years. My recovery has taken a while just simply due to pain. I could barely get out of bed. I used to be very athletic. I started slow with Jump Rope a few months ago after watching your vids. It’s helped me to build endurance without any aches. May not sound major but it’s a huge accomplishment for me. Thank you!

Hi Dan, first of all thanks for all your content. I started jumping rope during Covid. Am 45 years old. I came down from 130kg to currently 85kg. Am a big fan of Crossropes, 1/4 pounder is my favorite one too. JRD-TV is my main training app, signed up from the very beginning….incorporated also some weight lifting now, but daily skipping rope is my passion….even if I am traveling - as for e.g. right now on business trip in Lahore, Pakistan, just having my jumprope with me and do the thing every morning in my hotel room for min 35 - 45 minutes. I will be on vacation in California this summer for 5 weeks with my family…traveling from Switzerland….would be nice to meet you in LA - doing some jump-rope workout together 😊

I’ve been watching every video every release for four years or so I think. I’m pretty sure I bought my Cross-ropes because of JRD. Anyway I don’t know what to say except total props and support to you JRD Dan. I have managed to jump for five times a week for four years now and that is pretty remarkable because I’m 48 years old. I usually tie one on a little too often and always end up waiting a day or two after a bad hangover and that’s what’s killed my goals a little bit . Off-topic kind of. I was even drinking and jumping for a while. I’m certain I’m the only person on the entire earth, that drinks, wine and jump rope at the same time. Oh yeah I forgot I lost 50 pounds in that four years

I have lost almost 30 pounds (13,5kg) in 1 year 9 months, jumping rope 3-4 times a week, taking more steps daily and eating healthier. Went from 65 kg as a 27 year old to a 51,5 kg 29 year old petit woman. Now I am feeling better mentaly, am in great shape, down a size and lost my lower back pain

Hi Dan, what do you do for lower back pain? Is it from jumping too much (2-3 time/wk) or bad form or both? I try to jump at my local New York Sports Club's wooden floors. Can you recommend some back stretching/recovery exercises?

Hey! I travel through airports a lot and I’d like to bring my rope with me. It’s a cable rope, made of metal, and I’m wondering if anyone has experience getting a rope like this through TSA. Any issues?

Nowadays all I do is jumping rope, sprinting and calisthenics, but I zhink you gave a wrong answer to the person that asked about the elliptical. About 15 years ago I used to use it regularly (4-5 times a week for about 45 minutes) and it's amazingly effective if your goal is purely weight loss. Nothing wrong with the elliptical. But as eith anything, you have to be consistent, 4-5 times a week, for a longer period of time and decent intensity. And not eating crap.

combined with changing my nutrition routine around 12 months to really get it and keep it off. I also had a few times where I'd lose 30 lbs then gain some back then lose etc

hey man, I have one question and I want you to be honest with me. Before buying your crossrope and mat, I want to make sure that once I get them I won't need to buy anything else.
