I told someone I talk with when out walking about eating keto and now mostly carnivore. She is a nurse practitioner and basically had a fit and started saying how dangerous it was etc. I said well was keto for over a year, carnivore for 4 months. Lost 65 lbs so far. No longer prediabetic, no more fatty liver, blood pressure now normal was 240/120. Inflammation overall so much better. Pain from fibromyalgia, arthritis and even my degenerative disc disorder is so much better. But she still would not listen.

Thank you so much. Another great talk from Dr Chaffee. I'm a bit of a Chaffee enthusiast- I have been healed of several illness through being carnivore for the last three years. My whole family are now healthily carnivore. I've become qualified in advising on the ketogenic diet for therapy. This way of life is the gift that keeps on giving. Thank you so much Anthony. As an aside, you mention that dogs, as well as eating a load of 'garbage' in their kibble 'get their nutrients'. They don't. Most kibble is extremely lacking in the vital nutrition which a dog needs. I own two dogs who have been raw meat fed for all of their lives. If fed properly it is impossible for a dog to become fat (they stop eating when they are full!) and its impossible for them to become ill with our human diseases. Please folks- feed your dogs properly- we are killing the pets that we so love.

Oh my goodness… light bulb moment here! I have chosen not to give my dog premade ‘dog foods’ opting to cook for her. I don’t believe the biscuits/kibble/can food can be good… her cooked food is meat and veg and eggs… everyone says (especially vets) that she needs the dog food for nutrition… but I used to study at the zoo where I live, working with the carnivores… they were literally chucked a piece of raw meat… I think this is what I need to swap to for my beautiful dog! May I ask what type of meat you feed? Bone in? Thanks so much xx
@sallyb123492 күн бұрын
@@rebeccabradford4492 Really happy for your light bulb moment. A typical meal for my dogs is a small pice of raw pork (pre frozen and thawed to kill and pork bugs), chicken with bone, cow liver and mince beef and a piece of mackerel. I feed two dogs for the price of 1 euro per day. My biggest dog eats 1kg of meat per day and the toy poodle eats about 100g. Some bone is necessary for their calcium. They fast on a Wednesday as I figured this was closer to what they would do ion the wild. My advice would be to transition gradually (over a two week period) if you were thinking of changing from cooked food to raw. There are also a lot of commercial raw dog food products on the market but I think they are a bit too expensive. My butcher kindly gave me a pig's head and chopped it up into 10 pieces for me last week- free dog food! Good luck- I'd love to hear how you get on.

The Arctic has rapid growth summer season plants, blueberries, other fruit, herbs, many things. Bill Nott & Kerry Mann know you, talk about you on their KZbin channels, Bill Nott was 700 lbs and is losing hundreds of pounds so far on the Carnivore diet, and lives in the Arctic in Alaska near the Inuit. Every people group enjoys variety, even if animal meat & fat is enough minimum nutrition to be amazingly healthy, best healthy. Still, we like a lot of optional things to look at, do, smell, feel, taste, helping others, having pets, more house size than we need for minimum safety. Plants can be needed medicine too. And plants never could think & plan & change their life coding to create new parts & defenses. Animals can't do that either. They can't just experience problems then will new body parts. Plants like to get eaten anyway, not entirely to death, but trimming plants creates much more bushy growth which untimely creates more flowers & leaves to collect sunshine & CO2 to feed the plant. And trimming root and tops stimulates better root growth. Compare an untrimmed basil plant to a routinely harvested basil plant over the summer gardening season. Let them go to seed, one naturally, the other at the end of summer before it gets cold enough to hinder plant growth. Count the total of seeds. Compare. Measure the size of the plants & roots. Not all plants benefit from regular pruning. You don't want to do that to garlic or onions.

We know (by we I mean the people who know a few things about human nutrition "SCIENCE" and it's obvious limitations) that no study will likely ever exist on any food or substance able to inform on how it affects the human body, no cause and effect, no health benefits, no increasing risk etc. Human beings can't be experimented on and locked in a laboratory for all their lives being properly controlled and observed. Doc, nice video but you are wrong. A carnivore diet is NOT a ketogenic diet. A ketogenic diet is a diet that puts a person in ketosis (at least .5mmol/L of ketones). If no ketones, no keto diet. Me, Shawn Baker, and many other people have eaten 100% carnivore and have not gotten into ketosis. This happened to me when I was learning about ketosis. When I added more fat to my diet, only then I entered ketosis and by definition, on a keto diet. Thus please learn that carnivore does not mean ketogenic. .5mmol/L of ketones means ketogenic.
