@anthonychaffeemd2 күн бұрын
Thank you very much I'm glad you enjoyed my videos! I don't know much about it, And that's the problem, nobody does. We have no long-term safety data on this being used as an additive, either for the cows or for the people eating them. I think it is not a great idea to add things like this to the food chain and just hope for the best. That is reckless behavior and asking for trouble. Personally I will be avoiding this at all costs, but thankfully it's not that hard to do here as the people who sponsor my show, stockman stakes, they explicitly won't use this so I'm sure you can find other sources in the UK who could do the same. You may need to buy direct from a farmer though, which is actually good for everyone as it help support your local rancher and get out of the large food monopoly with the grocery stores etc. Good luck!

Thank You! Something to add to your mention of Red Cross selling donated blood: I stopped donating some years ago after requesting my blood results, other than iron and blood pressure at the time of donation, multiple times but turned down. I eventually spoke with someone with authority expressing my thoughts of allowing donors to sign and even pay a processing fee to see an online blood panel but the request again turned down. Having worked in medical labs for years and touring through Red Cross facility I know the extensive processing required to ensure safe blood is distributed to needy recipients. The signed waiver would acknowledge the panel is for information only and not to be used for diagnosing any conditions. The fee could be something like $25 which would be more than enough to allow downloading private information using the bar code on every donation and kept in a file. I believe the RC would see an increase in donations but I sense a pushback from the medical community in falsely fearing loss of money.

Hi. I appreciate your content, especially on KZbin. I tried switching to carnivore, but was beset with diarrhoea after about week 3 which has persisted. I had low energy and fatigue too. I switched to animal based, i.e heavy on the meat, but some appreciable carbs and I find the muscle fatigue (it was like lactic acid buildup) is gone. Would you advice to switch to carnivore in a tapering way, i.e reduce the carbs progressively, as opposed to going cold turkey for people like us? P S. I'm probably a lean mass hyper responder

A slow transition is always the best approach to any dietary change. Try keto then slowly move to carnivore perhaps.

@@geo_njue Pleasure. Cold turkey can work for some people but it is generally recommended to go slow as it allows the body time to adjust. As you have found out with the diarrhoea. We need our bile production to be at maximum do deal with the extra saturated fat that we need. It took me several months to get my bile production back to normal but I was had caused my issue with 7 years of pump inhibiter drugs for indegestion and acid reflux. we need to eat lots of saturated animal fats but we also need the bile to deal with it.
