My 13 year old daughter and I have started the carnivore diet this week. Already have noticed weight loss, joint pain gone, and whites of the eyes are brighter, and digestion has improved. Even though its the holidays I have not had any temptation for any sweets or treats. So happy to have come across your channel. Looking forward to more results and better health ❤ Thank you for your information and your followers for all of their feedback.🙏

Your daughter is at a critical stage of her growth and development. The carnivore diet will support her now so she can grow into a healthy, vigorous adult. Stick to carnivore. I have been carnivore more than two years. I strongly encourage you to stick with it. make sure you eat enough, and animal fat is a major part of your meats.

I know nutrition majors at the same time the time we’re taking the same course. Yet somehow that knowledge did not make its way into mainstream nutrition until decades later crazy stuff.

@anthonychaffeemd
@anthonychaffeemd 2 күн бұрын
Thank you very much I'm glad you enjoyed my videos! I don't know much about it, And that's the problem, nobody does. We have no long-term safety data on this being used as an additive, either for the cows or for the people eating them. I think it is not a great idea to add things like this to the food chain and just hope for the best. That is reckless behavior and asking for trouble. Personally I will be avoiding this at all costs, but thankfully it's not that hard to do here as the people who sponsor my show, stockman stakes, they explicitly won't use this so I'm sure you can find other sources in the UK who could do the same. You may need to buy direct from a farmer though, which is actually good for everyone as it help support your local rancher and get out of the large food monopoly with the grocery stores etc. Good luck!

When looking at vitamin B12 levels, it’s hard to say how much is too much. The vitamin is water-soluble, meaning it’s generally safe at high levels because the body flushes out what it doesn’t use with water.

Because if you go MAHA, there will be a lot of people who try to destroy you. Exactly. I've always enjoyed listening to Dr. Chaffee because he speaks with scientific and evolutionary evidence as to what the human body needs to thrive.

Thank You! Something to add to your mention of Red Cross selling donated blood: I stopped donating some years ago after requesting my blood results, other than iron and blood pressure at the time of donation, multiple times but turned down. I eventually spoke with someone with authority expressing my thoughts of allowing donors to sign and even pay a processing fee to see an online blood panel but the request again turned down. Having worked in medical labs for years and touring through Red Cross facility I know the extensive processing required to ensure safe blood is distributed to needy recipients. The signed waiver would acknowledge the panel is for information only and not to be used for diagnosing any conditions. The fee could be something like $25 which would be more than enough to allow downloading private information using the bar code on every donation and kept in a file. I believe the RC would see an increase in donations but I sense a pushback from the medical community in falsely fearing loss of money.

Transitioned partially to Ketovore several months ago, which means I now eat a few low carb veggie several times a week - mainly to appease my skeptical husband. Because MAHA is viewed through the lense of divisive politics, it negatively taints all of the info SO NEEDED on the health benefits of the carnivore diet & the corruption of the data we receive from profit & religiously motivated corporations & agencies. I CRINGE at how politics will ruin the ability to get the info out there. Many will dismiss it due to just the MAHA label. I myself am embarrassed to be associated with the political aspect of this. I can't share the carnivore diet with others because I will be viewed as a member of the cult of personality known as MAGA.

I got caught up in this carnivore diet thing for a year. I didn't know it, but I was losing abut 1% of my energy per week. After a year on Carnivore, my workouts were down 50%. Just no sustained energy. As if the gas tank was empty. Started back on carbs and I couldn't believe it. What was 5 reps is now 20. My muscles feel energized again. Anyone else experience this?

Diet was truly carnivore or were there some sugars or sneaky carbs? Eating enough calories? Incredibly hard/long workouts? The possibility also exists that you are active enough that your body does better with carbs. I'm curious about your and others experiences like this.

@@hungryspleen5585 I'm disciplined. I really don't care about food. I did it because of the advertised health benefits. And I didn't cheat. I'm was happy eating meat. It cut down meal prep and decision making. Two other things I noticed on Carnivore. 1.) Unreal constipation. I had to go on 200-300% RDA of Magnesium just not go to the hospital and have the concrete tubes carved out of me. I never never knew what constipation was until Carnivore 2.) Peeing in the middle of the night. I never even knew that was a thing either until I went on Carnivore.

Sounds like not enough fat. Fat is our energy. Seeing as you struggled with your stools I would say you almost certainly never consumed enough fat. Fat softens the stools. If they are too lose and wet then you know you had a little too much fat.

I struggled to have enough energy for several months until I learned to eat more fat. I had avoided fat for 35 years so it was very hard for my head to accept eating added fat. I now have energy all day, still workout twice a week and have remained stable weight.

you needs fats. and healthiest source is animal fats. also, ground beef healthier than lean ground because the lean has less fats and connective tissue which is needed.

Anyone have sleep issues when cutting carbs? I want to give this a decent shot here but insomnia gets bad. I workout every day for an hour and run/swim/surf so energy output is high. Currently just doing grassfed beef eggs and raw cheese with rice products/potatoes and honey/maplesyrup. Any advice would be appreciated I have a high level of knowledge so understand rhe basics

Get this!! I was totally shocked this afternoon. My hairstylist said he's been vegetarian all his life including his large family, grandparents living beyond 107 yo, his other grandfather is 96 and goes running....yes running at 96!! He's indian and he said no meat, not even eggs. They're all perfectly healthy and this was after when l said he'll get sick without meat. He said all his blood test are perfect including high strength bone density. Me myself l have been carnivore for 18 months now, it's been a bit of a rocky road last few months. His comments really caught my attention and started questioning my carnivore journey. Has anyone else had similar experiences including vegetarians being happy and healthy? I'm baffled, what gives

Dear Anthony...I do enjoy your content, very much. However, perhaps you could consider curbing some of the foul language? Especially taking the Lord's Name in vain - and other foul words that really don't need to be used. It saddens me when people feel they need to speak this way. There are so many wonderful words that can be used! Please consider, Anthony. Thank you. :)

Hi. I appreciate your content, especially on KZbin. I tried switching to carnivore, but was beset with diarrhoea after about week 3 which has persisted. I had low energy and fatigue too. I switched to animal based, i.e heavy on the meat, but some appreciable carbs and I find the muscle fatigue (it was like lactic acid buildup) is gone. Would you advice to switch to carnivore in a tapering way, i.e reduce the carbs progressively, as opposed to going cold turkey for people like us? P S. I'm probably a lean mass hyper responder

A slow transition is always the best approach to any dietary change. Try keto then slowly move to carnivore perhaps.

@@geo_njue Pleasure. Cold turkey can work for some people but it is generally recommended to go slow as it allows the body time to adjust. As you have found out with the diarrhoea. We need our bile production to be at maximum do deal with the extra saturated fat that we need. It took me several months to get my bile production back to normal but I was had caused my issue with 7 years of pump inhibiter drugs for indegestion and acid reflux. we need to eat lots of saturated animal fats but we also need the bile to deal with it.
