Who knows if there's anything mentally wrong with AB. I do understand where he's coming from though. He feels like he was used as a top tier player for a "prove it" value by Tampa and the whole organization. He feels like no one there actually cares about his wellbeing as a person, only in what he can produce for them as a player. If he was going to go back into the game and risk further damage to his ankle, he wanted to be valued like Gucci; rather he was treated like Goodwill. IMO: To AB's defense, he's pretty locked in mentally, and he seems to have a good circle of people around him to help keep him that way. However, what I think has him messed up more than anything has to go back to his childhood. He's been built up by nothing but "yes men".
