very first wave (around 4:30 am) consisted of the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Australian battalions, about 4,000 men...West Australians, South Australians, Queenslanders and Tasmanians. Victorians and NsWelshman & New Zealanders landed in subsequent waves throughout the morning thank-you
