Dude, i came here for this! Great show btw!! in a time where every "Strong" female lead is flagged Woke Trash. Wednesday has the benifit of having a rich history of her Mary Sueness being grounded in Lore. Yes it does make sence why she is better at archery and fencing. it make perfect sense why she will out dance everybody on the floor. It doesnt need explanation wy she would kick 3 bigger guy's ass using kungFu. Stong independent Females where never the problem with the Anti Woke movement. As long as it's grounded in Lore. there needs to be a reason why se is so bad ass.

This is epic. A beautifully made tribute to the original. I danced to the metallica version with my husband as our first dance as husband and wife. 19 years together and 15 years married and still as in love as much as we were since the start. When I'm feeling down or depressed my husband puts this or the original on on and we dance to this on the kitchen floor. It's very cathartic.the rendition of this does the song justice.

They wont bro. If instrumental music was cool people would have listened long ago. Their best needed help from Three Days Grace for gods sake. Classical is dead as it should be.
@KingBawb-wg3jo Жыл бұрын
@@hiddenfrogsnatcher4796 Them being a household name was a bit of hyperbole but classical is dead? You're out of your mind and have zero understanding of music. The modern classical artists are John Williams, James Horner, and Hans Zimmer to name a few. Also classical is still played around the world today even after hundreds of years. Not to mention is commonly used in TV shows and movies. Just like this was. And finally, if you really think that, why are you even hear listening to it? Leaving a comment? I saw them open for another band a long time ago and I had never heard of them. I was grabbing a beer from a bar and I heard this song … ON CELLOS!! … and I wondered through the crowd to the base of the stage and stared in amazement. I was hypnotized. Went out and bought a cello and have been learning ever since. That moment began my musical journey and I’ll always remember it.

Same here. I first heard this cover by them when I was about 12 years old (~12 years ago). They inspired me to play cello, and I've been playing ever since. Even went to music school for 6 years. Tried to get my bachelor's in performance but the curriculum was too much and not fun at all. Nearly killed my musical spirit. Wonderful piece of music, but I appreciate the clip as well. Would like to hear what others think about it. I always associated the boats/ships in this with kids... At the very beginning you can see the woman on the swing, being all cheerful and carefree. After that comes the toy/model boat - a small child. The couple carry it through snow, crush the ice so it can float... Just like parents help their children and go through the pain of clearing the way for their future. Eventually they let it sail on its own on the open sea; they let go, just like parents do at some point. And at the very end they observe how that little boat that once couldn't get to the stream without their help now is a great ship cruising the vast ocean. And their proud as hell. I love it.

As a fellow cellist... gives me chills to hear this song in a cello acoustic. I fell in love when I heard it on the Wednesday Netflix show even tho she wasnt playing it visually it was played as song in the series in cello acoustic.. I was washing dishes when my 11 year old was watching it in the living room during Thanksgiving time with the in laws.. And I heard the harmony and asked is that a cello I hear playing?. She said yeah mom Wednesday playing it how did you no. I said your momma played the cello from 5th grade to 12th.. And I did chior. Cello is the grandfather of the guitars. It's strings and notes is the same to a air and acoustic guitar. Only difference you have to sit in a chair and hold a bow and rye your bow instead of a pick. Your bow is your pick. Why I fell in love with the cello. I had a cherry oak cello with a light tan leather case. As a fellow rocker. I loved teaching myself rock and roll songs on my cello since it is the grandfather guitar. I never dreamed to play Metallica nothing else matters. I loved when she played Paint it black by rolling stones on the balcony which by far is a Rock and Roll song i never imagined either to play on my cello. But when I heard the cello washing dishes I knew the song and the instrument. I was than intrigued by the series.. Come to find out I was right. And my daughter called me a dork but at the same time thought I was cool because Only Wednesday was playing it 9x out of 10. Also she didn't believe when I pointed out the Wednesday i grew up seeing in the 90s Christina Ricci was the Normie teacher in the new Wednesday. We argued until she searched it up. I told her i told you sissy, she played in Casper too after the Adam's family.. Your momma a movie fanatic too as well as music. My in laws thought it was amazing how I called out the instrument and the name of the song when i heard it as i was cleaning up in the kitchen.. Heck yeah I'm a rock baby and who can't tell that the Rolling Stones and Metallica. I dont expect folks to know the instrument but the cello like the violin speaks in such harmony you can heard lyrics in its notes and strings. It resonates in its chorus and harmony in the notes... Highlight of my Thanksgiving was feeling bliss of hearing the cello in a rock song since its been 13 years since i played it.. I use to close my eyes and play same to when i sing... Some things never die in the soul. . . 🤣🤣🥰😅🤌💗 " Edited." Yes she Jenna played the cellist acoustics songs in this series even if it wasn't visually played. She is the cello sound track to the series even she fell in love with the instrument taught herself before the production started and said she'll continue to pursuit it even after. Not only was Christina Ricci was her inspiration she evaluated into her own character from her role model but also orchestrated another new art talet of her own in music that founded a new Authenticy in her own character.. If only many knew actually touching one really hits your soul like a harpist, pianist or violinist when it's heard, felt and or played! So Blissful 🤘😩🥰💗

Wow. Metalica and chello. Huge part of what turned Wednesday from a steriotype into one of the finest and astonishingly real characters of this era. Another great Finish band.

First listened to this in.... feels like the 90s! My music teacher played this and asked which instruments we just heard. Then he showed us the music video... let us say we were quite shocked

I didn't really listen to Metallica in the past but I did know about these guys and always called them "Instrumental Metallica". Really damn good stuff.

I was at your concert. This video was played on the background when you performed it. It was so graceful performance, paljon kiitoksia!
