Amen to that, my wife and I have been saying this and practicing it for years. What changed us the most was when our Son was born, we did an "exit society" gameplan, where we would have land, freedom, and the time to teach our son how to live in today's hidden slavery system, and conquer it. We're now on five acres, closer to God than we've ever been, and learning how to grow our own meat and produce. We'll be signing our son up for Apogee and Jiu Jitsu at the end of the year, we've already began the process and are very excited for his future. God protect people like you guys and keep you in his heart.

Just heard about the School on the Shawn Ryan show & was excited to learn more. I'm 65 yrs old & extremely worried about what kids are learning and not learn. How moral values are robbed. I'd love to see these charter schools in Illinois. It's desperately needed God Bless you all 🙏🇺🇲

I am a former educator in both public and private school systems, and I resonate with the message presented in this video. The public school system is irrevocably broken, and every private school system that is patterned off of the public school system have become unknowingly perpetrators of propagating the same destructive ideology. An Ideology that destroys the creativity, passion, and joy of learning that is inherent in EVERY child. Bravo to Apogee Strong for redefining education in a comprehensive common-sense approach that genuinely equips children with the essential life skills and tools to become passionate life-long learners.

Just talked today to Haley about the to be SATX campus. No doubts that it would be a treasure for my children and our family to be a part of it. I can’t express how amazing and revolutionary it would be.

My son was miserable in school for the past 3-4 years. I finally started homeschool last month. I wish I had started sooner. I thought I wasn't capable, I was afraid I was gonna ruin his education. I wish I har done it sooner and not allowed the school system to suppress him for as long as they did

Havn't watched yet, but heard Tim talk about this on Chris William's podcast. Our archaic education system is slow, outdated, mismanaged. We pay the wrong people to teach the wrong stuff. A system designed for a manufacturing economy for our 19th and 20th century society. We haven't been a manufacturing economy since we decided to outsource the work overseas. Being from the rustbelt, I grew up watching the local communities not be able to transition fast enough, going from bustling boomtowns all the way to some of most destitute places to live in America. Our k-12 has been in need of dramatic disruption and innovation for 40+ years now and so I'm glad to see programs like this pop up and challenge the status quo. I'd love to replicate something similar in my own community and think it would be well-received if rolled out and done well. Will def keep an eye on this. Best of luck!

Interesting watch. I hope this succeeds so my kids one day have a better place to go to. Maybe one day I can also help the next generation learn how to think.

Apply later this year when they open applications for new campuses! Should be in July/August when they announce another round of applicants. Currently have a location coming to Canada and one in Australia so its entirely possible! (Apogee Baton Rouge founder here)

When i was in highschool, i was in my geometry class, and the teacher had this really complicated way of getting to the answer, and something clicked in my brain. I wrote a whole new formula to solve the equations he was giving us. Every equation he gave that day i was able to input and get the correct answer. I showed my teacher and all he said was thats not the way we do it, its not correct. Now i forgot the formula. I may not have been the first person to write this formula but he shut down my free thoughts, so i just stuck to what he taught. The system is broken.

This system ruined me mentally. And so many others. Pump out the next guy, just like the army was…but it started in school. I’m in the Minneapolis/st Paul area…who do I need to talk to.

We talk about this all the time in universities that we have to reprogram young people from the lies and indoctrination they received from public education. This isn’t a left or right issue or a Christian vs atheist issue, the system is broken for everyone. Regardless of your background everyone is being sold a bill of goods that does not match the real world.

You don't know what slavery is if you think public education is slavery. This is pathetic.

What a bunch of word vomit. Not a single solution just a use of algorithmic word soup. This is the epitome of huckstering.

We have thousands of people we get to serve in our programs, and are launching 50 campuses in 2024 alone. We think that sounds suspiciously like some attempted solutions, but are glad to hear about what you are doing to create change so that we can make our attempts better.

@@apogeestrong2136 I'm not sure where you taught public school previously and how long ago that was, but I work in public school and a lot of the gaps you bring up (critical thinking, variation according to student need, encouraging individualism, nonstandard tables/chairs in classroom) are things that are highlighted in the public schools in my region. So that is a way we are creating change. :)

@@ScarletBacon they don't want to think critically, even though that's what they advertise. They just want a piece of that juicy school choice pie.
