Many has asked the question... How does the bike hold up long term? I challenge you to watch my most recent torture test video! There you will see the Apollo undergo a burnout from the start of the brand new tire and until it pops and then I hold it at redline for over 3 minutes. The bike was already crippled going into this test because my brother-in-law had bent the output shaft which tore up the gears in the transmission which sent metal shavings throughout the engine and caused a loss of second and fourth gear. The bike still survived this torture test 🤯🤯🤯 It may not be the most powerful or the most comfortable, but it definitely is reliable for some fun at an affordable price!

I bought this bike for my son for Xmas 2019. He has only been able to ride it twice, but he is loving it! We don't have much money and the $800 set me back quite a bit, but man this bike is cool. We're in a cold part of the US and were planning on our yearly trips to the Wyoming Rockies over the summer to really test it out on the trails. That won't be happening now so I'm enjoying watching these vids. He gets to go out and fire it up once in a while but can only ride up and down our street. Can't wait to see him ripping it up at some point.

@@LilConney it's actually going great! We've had two trips up the mountain and he was riding the trails non stop. There is an issue with the carb just dumping fuel. I bought the mikuni carb vm22 that was suggested at the same time I bought the bike. We put it on and it wouldn't start so we pulled it and put the stock carb back on. After checking it out there was no gas in the carb so thinking it was an adjustment screw. I don't know much about it but am mechanically inclined so I'll figure it out this week. We have a week trip planned up the mountain so he'll get some real riding time. I'll let you know how it goes. As for now, I am extremely happy with it and so is my son. My in-laws were so impressed with it that they bought the hawk 250. After I assembled it we realized it's too tall for them to ride so they basically gave it to me. I'm having some issues with it though. I only got it assembled yesterday though so I'll hopefully get the issues figured out on that.

So as many of you know I purchased this bike from www.powersportsmax.com at that time it was $650 plus $200 shipping. Due to popularity, this bike has since doubled in price and is nearly $1,200 at most places. However, after doing lots of research, I was able to find this site here, www.superiorpowersports.com/125cc_Dirt_Bike_p/ap125db-x15.htm?keyword=&gclid=CjwKCAjw5Kv7BRBSEiwAXGDElSaUgI-C3iVrQM2q2PiD0-yIm5ekcyp1vYNfGVrEOpLEl644sAdNpBoCYb0QAvD_BwE which has the bike listed at $1200 but is currently on sale for $779 plus $199 shipping. This was a great question / statement as I encourage you guys to interact with me by commenting just as this individual did. First off, I don't know everything and I don't consider myself smarter than the average Joe 😂 But in this case I did know more about the bike then when it was first delivered by UPS. The video was getting too long and to keep it short as possible I didn't feel the need to explain that although this was the first impression / ride review I was already familiar with the bike as after the assembly I rode it around my property for a few minutes to ensure that everything was mechanically sound, therefore, giving me a sense of how the bike behaves. So far it's been great!!! Stay tuned for more Apollo videos!! 🤘

I have the red and white DB x18 big wheel version. 17's in front. 14's rear and I love it. I've had it 2 years and the bike has held up very well (with routine maintenance). First thing you're gonna want to replace is that carb. It sucks. I originally went the vm22 Mikuni knock off route, but I didn't like that carb either so got the Nibbi 26mm PE racing carb, intake adapter, and filter. Holy crap did that make a difference! Really woke the bike up. She rips now. I also got a racing cdi which smoothed out the power band. This bike is fun for modding with othe after market parts too. I got the Nibbi throttle and cable (its like butter) red anodized JFG racing foot pegs, shifter, brake and clutch levers, Protaper grips and pad. I even painted the RFZ racing logo on the engine side covers, and replaced the seat cover. The bike looks and rides great! Happy trails boys...

@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL4 жыл бұрын
It would definitely be a great beginner bike! Maintenance is relatively low being that it's not a high compression race engine. Always ensure the air filter is clean and change the oil every 6 months. Oil as per the manual is 10w-40. But be sure to buy motorcycle oil as the bike has a wet sump, which means the engine and transmission share the same oil. If you use automotive oil, which contains detergents, it will cause the clutch plates to wear out. Other than that your good to go! 👍

Cheapest place I could find my Apollo DB X15 dirtbike was Walmart. I ordered it online for $1114 6/2024, color green. It arrived on a crated, assembled in about 5 hrs but did some extra work with the sticky steering head bearings, lubed the clutch cable, etc. The Walmart order packing slip came from Dallas Power Sports but it shipped from Indianapolis IN. I feel it's worth the $ but I will be putting a nibbi PE22FL carb on it since the jetting on the factory carb is too lean and it runs poorly out of the box.

I just got my dirt bike yesterday but I can’t get it to start. Idk what I’m doing wrong.
@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL4 жыл бұрын
Make sure the key is on and the switch on the handlebars is in the On position. After that be sure to turn the choke on and try kicking it over without giving it any throttle. If it doesn't start with that method then try giving it just a little bit of throttle and kick it over several times and see how that goes for you.

😂😂😂 believe it or not I'm a dirt bike rider at heart. I know funny right, because I own a Raptor and named my KZbin channel "QUADNATION" But growing up I fell in love with the sport on a CR125R. During my teenage years I rode a Raptor 660 and told myself at that point that one day I would own a Raptor, along with the dirt bikes of course... Fast forward several years and here I am today! Lol. Also, once I started my life as an adult and bought my own place my area is more sport quad inviting as the open dirt roads and tons of sharp corners make it an awesome place to ride as the drifting opportunities are endless!

I watched this video literally a couple months later than now last year (in april of last year) and this video sold me on this bike and i baught one because of this video lol! i got the x18 version, the taller big wheel version in red i had crappy shipping the box of parts was missing almost everything except the handlebar wrap and the owners manual lol, i had to seperatly buy all the other parts like for example the axle for the front tire and all the hardware and even the title but i got the parts and its been together and this bike rips all considering the tires are even holding up well too lol from one year to the next lets see how it rolls! hahaha!!! awesome video and thanks for helping me make my mind up lol

@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL Oh yeah the x18 is amazing, if even go as far as comparing the frame size to a Yamaha or Honda 125cc frame size, and one more thing sorry to bother you, do you have any bogging issues when you go from idle to full throttle by chance lol

I got ours at R Powersports. They were awesome and got it 5 days after ordering it. With the virus it's probably longer now. We got the Hawk from powersportsmax and it came damaged. Not enough to send it back but there are scratches on it and the shifter was bent. Not really a big deal. I did have to call them for an MSO and they were very helpful and easy to talk to.
