Team, please show us when/how things go “wrong” or at least not according to your otherwise so meticulously thought out plans ; and what you do to pivot and recreate. Everyone knows more of the learning and value comes when the plan goes to the pooper and Steven and everyone around him must be expert “lesson learners” with so many plates in the air! I think this would be super useful for us to see :))

Steven, I am (what I consider) a young mother to an 8 year old, mixed race adopted son, from South Africa. You have become a sweetheart of all Dragons Den viewers and beyond that. You have inspired me so much. To be better, to thi k differently and to break generational strongholds. If I can raise my son to think about life, the way you do with so much introspection, I would have done my job well. You deserve this beautiful life that you have worked hard for ❤

Peoples heads are already in phones all the time. AVP is v1 of pulling the heads _out_ of the phones, and pointing them toward everybody else in the real world. Sure, they’re clumsy, too big, ugly, but I think the fact that Apple, for all its flaws, focused on AR when the rest of the herd was stampeding to VR is a good sign. I take the “pictures of eyeballs on the outside of the device“ as another (obviously not yet successful) evidence of Apple’s drive toward the connected, versus disconnected, future. They did not have to roll this out with the stupid eyeballs on the outside, but I like that they took the chance and did it.

I'm genuinely upset that I'm all caught up with these vlogs. Ugh, now I have to wait until every Sunday! Thank you so much for making these. As a fan of DOAC, I've thoroughly enjoyed the BTS. I'm def not a CEO or an entrepreneur, but as a psychotherapist I love all the little life lessons and wisdom embedded in these vlogs. What's better than just listening to someone drop wisdom is seeing someone putting it into action and role modeling it for others, and that's really what these vlogs show. It's not necessarily about being a renowned speaker or entrepreneur, it's about taking the path of more resistance in the every day stuff to aspire towards the best versions of ourselves. Keep up the amazing work.

I think if there is one thing the DOAC reminded us of was the power of meaningful, close, physical human connections. Tech may advance much further and much faster but I doubt it will ever make our souls feel like they are connected to each other the way physical and emotional presence does through openness, vulnerability and shared experience♥️

Hi Steven, I'm not sure if you see my comment, but after watching this episode, the part from 11:47 to 13:44 where you talked about being broke 10 years ago really resonated with me emotionally. As someone trying to grow a new business in Africa, hearing your story gives me hope that my life can also change for the better. I quit my job as an art director about a year ago to focus on my start-up. I've been working extremely hard - putting in 18+ hour days. However, it's been a real struggle so far. Your journey from nothing to success inspires me not to give up, even when things are difficult. Stories like yours keep me motivated to pursue my entrepreneurial dreams no matter what obstacles arise. Thank you for sharing your experiences openly. It helps me believe that with dedication and perseverance, I may also see positive changes in my life someday. I wish you continued success and will keep following for more motivational insights!

Thank you Steven for acknowledging that " People have harder lives " We do see a trend where people who are more fortunate than others complain about how hard & challenging life can be for them and are out of touch with the real world of life. I found the sets of Diary of a CEO, a bit dark, it looks like a room where someone is likely to be interrogated like you see on SAS Who Dares Wins. The studio does need lightening up a bit. Does the Apple Vision Pro do anything to help with loneliness and human connection? I mean it is an awesome bit of tech that's for sure! Works wonders with productivity, though I don't think you'd be able to watch Manchester United on it at the same time. LOL. It's not an ideal solution for combatting human connection or loneliness. I don't think any kind of technology can replace face to actual face-to-face communication or human contact.

For example engineers working on a piece of tech with the tech guides and blueprints in overlay with what they see or workers that could wear the headset to easily detect faults in production, live subtitles for people with hearing difficulties or live translations for when you visit countries using a different language than yours, and so on. The potential is immense.

10,000 minutes since your last video and since my last comment and this vlog his a massive shift away from the regular style, which is absolutely brilliant. To keep the content fresh, but maintaining your core principles is brilliant. To hear Steven's honest and open views new technology and how they are and will impact society is great, I would love to hear him speak more about AI in detail and not only his view but also how DOAC and his other companies are using it. I look forward to these videos every week, the whole team behind this channel is fantastic, the editing especially is world class. One question from me this week, the 10k question: you mentioned how hardship helped shape your approach and also how loneliness is a big factor. What advice can you give on how to raise and mentor children who do not have hardship in their upbringing and are growing up in this ever changing world of AI and isolation technology, how do you maintain that human element, or is it expected that humans and their nature will just shift to something the current generation do not recognise?

Great dive into the intersection of tech and entrepreneurship in this episode! For those intrigued by Tesla's marketing strategy, it's worth noting that their approach to 'lean into the absurd' is a classic example of 'viral loop marketing'-creating buzzworthy products that get people talking and sharing, essentially marketing themselves. It's a powerful tactic for startups looking to make a big impact with limited budgets.

That truck is one of the ugliest things I’ve seen in a long while - change for changes sake is 😳🙄😑 🤦♀️- I agree with someone else who said you should interview yourself - ask for questions from us - your team can condense it down to profound stuff 😁tee hee hee…the new Apple product is just another tool to stop people communicating ….very sad 😢….unless you can have the whole team in the same virtual world ….😬 …the problem is some people just won’t switch off from it and loners will become more alone….why doesn’t someone put the same bloody effort into coming up with something techie that can bring us together ???? Harumph. Great episode . Another thought …what will my kids do when AI and Robots have taken over the majority of jobs, and they have these devices …..what sort of world will that be? Has anyone thought that through for gods sake? And what are schools doing to prep/ educate the young to be useful in that future world? ….its scary shit. Sorry just brain dumping my concerns !!! Maybe you can use your immense connectability (is that a word ?) to start a global discussion about this ….😬

Awesome video. Amazing work from the whole team. I noticed the banding/pulsing of lights on the video, this might be caused by the difference between the camera shutter speed and the Hz that lights pulse at. US works on 60hz so shutter speeed should be at a multiple of 60 to minimise banding, in UK will need to be in a multiple of 50. Was really nice to see you all having fun in the cyber truck and experimenting with new tech.

VR tech is something you really have to experience to get any sense of how impressive it is. I don't think the goggles are going to be around for long though. This is all going be neurochip tech, possibly within some of our own lifetimes. It's going to be a borg situation, too. You'll be allowed to go without, but doing so will be like trying to go without a smartphone today. You *can*, but it will noticeably limit your ability to interact with society. Won't surprise me if you just straight up can't access money without it at some point, and it'll be like Mirror's Edge: Catalyst where you have to illegally jailbreak it to not have ads being pumped directly into your brain.
