I couldn’t resist the 15p veg bags from Tesco! I’ve made sauerkraut with one cabbage, coleslaw with another cabbage, carrots & onion, loads of French onion soup, baked potatoes, mixed stew, all plant based OMG it’s never ending, 85p all in, plus a bit of stock boullion & tvp in the stew!

Hi From Dublin, just started following your channel, it's great and well done you for setting it up . 1st of April, done a good shop , now banning myself from the supermarkets. Giving myself 30 euro for the rest of the month to buy fresh veg, got so much meat on yellow sticker in tesco, and have to do a total cupboard clear out of rice, cous cous, lentils , pasta, no excuses ! I've got enough food ! Keep going girl, I'm saving for house too ! Jo x

If you get mouldy food from Tesco again, or anywhere, fire off an email to the Head office with photos and you will likely get your money back and extra ‘gift vouchers’ from them - I have done that once or twice with a supermarket or two and they are usually generous at putting things right - you definitely get your money back and a bit more, and sometimes a few extra pounds which is only right

Asda used to refund double if you weren't happy with something. Not sure if they still do that as I don't usually shop there very often as its further away!

FYI. I have not been successful at baking Keto without a recipe. So frustrating to loose precious food in a fail. Now i definitely look up recipes online.

£128 is still an amazing amount plus april is 4 weeks 2 days. Reckon try lilds early morning get a £1.50 fruit and veg box i got strawberries today reduced to £1. I did read sainsbury big stores have fruit and veg boxes too never got one yet though

​@TheBudgetFoodie a few weeks ago I managed to get a £1.50 veg and fruit box from Lidl. It was on a Wednesday, which is the day before they change their offers. To see what I managed to get for that price I have done a video under my supermarket bargains playlist!

Will the muscle food order not do you 2 months? So say it cost you £34 for the meat this month and £34 for next month, which will leave you £66 for the rest of the month, which is £16.50 per week. Just a thought, and then in May just remembed you have already spent some of your budget.

Hello from the West of Ireland! Your channel came up on my feed and now I'm hooked! Really enjoying your videos, nice and calming :] Nice to see 'Jack' too. He always makes me smile. Re Keto, I too started it recently, seeing and feeling great positive effects. I'm actually saving money on groceries now and nice not to have so much plastic/paper/canned waste from packaged processed foods. Using a little creativity and imagination, good quality minced beef can go a long way. I'm considering going Ketovore. Good luck with your challenge and thanks for sharing your journey with us! :)
