One of the most underrated bikes around. I'm lucky enough to have an Eddy Rep RSVR and the rare 2002 RSVR Tuono Limited. By the looks of it you're local ish to me with the roads you're riding. Hope to bump into you some time this year on some ride outs if I get chance

Yes and they are so affordable at the moment! I was surprised at how much bike you get for your money. They are reliable, handle really well and look absolutely fantastic! Yes, maybe we will cross paths someday 🙂

Ha I always get it wrong, hence the need to caveat myself every time I say it 😂. I tried the supermoto thing a few years ago with a KTM and it didn’t suit me particularly well. I’ve always loved the look of them though and the SXV450 looks amazing. Just a shame I can’t ride them properly 🙄

@@CharltonsClassics Its funny, the smc690 you have in video, is exactloy the akrapovic exhaust that im fixing. Also funny, i watched your video and heard you talk about the weird lean process of body up bike down, and i too had some issues at first, coming from road bikes, takes quite a while to get used to. Thanks a lot for answering and hope to see some more of your videos!

It was a fantastic exhaust on the KTM. So loud without the baffle! But yes it just wasn't my style and it was pretty uncomfortable to say the least! Hope you get the SXV on the road soon and show it off to people...there aren't enough of them on the roads!

alright mate the rev limiter is set up at 6k , the dashboard buttons will sort it. it will reset every time you take the battery off.

@CharltonsClassics Hi Chris, as someone who owns his second RSV Mille for more than 20 years, I'm less surprised that the engine has 998ccm than I am with your pronunciation. Your transmission and safety will be grateful if you apply revmatching for downshifting, as is normal on a motorcycle. Have fun driving this very special motorcycle✌️
