Absolutely incredible song!!!! Instrumentals and vocals are killer!! Main reason why I love this song is because the lyrics totally relate to my life and this wasn't a typical stereotypical Arch Enemy song. Because of the more uniqueness and great lyricism I prefer The Eagle Flies Alone. World is Yours was fantastic but more predictable than The Eagle Flies Alone.

It's def grown on me and although it's still def Arch Enemy it does have new elements. It's hard to know how songs fit into albums until you hear the whole album. I remember when I first heard Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden I was so disappointed after Badmotorfinger, but then it ended up fitting really well into Superunknown. Hopefully this is the same, hopefully the rest of the album kicks. But I do like this, I just want something less predictable.

I mean I don't have a lot of exceotions for Arch Enemy videos. So this looks kinda good, but is still is quite boring. I totally agree with you on the video thing. I liked that song, but that's it. It doesn't me blow away and also agree with the solo thing. Espacially that they have Jeff Loomis now. Also I wish they would let Alissa right all Lyrics, even War Eternal had much better Lyrics than this. I feel like they don't use their full potential.

We all know why, Amott won't let them, simple ! If Jeff would do what he did on his solo albums people would realize how outdated he is , and the social Warrior lyrics are terrible,however even with all of that I still find some of their songs enjoyable

The Video was more pleasing to watch, but idk Arch Enemy isn't a bad band by any means. The only thing that kinda turns me away from Arch Enemy is the Generic "Your life is yours, seize the day" music they make. And it may be just the singles that are that way but i don't hear much variety when it comes to the Message in their songs. The instrumentals are killer, catchy and Alissa has a powerful voice, Both Clean and Unclean, and i understand the want or need for positive uplifting songs, But not everyone is into that. I love Megatdeth because of how Dark it is while at the same time a good amount of it makes you feel good. There's nothing wrong with Positive music, but without Negative songs to counter balance it, in my opinion can make for a weak album or Band. Variety is the spice of life and even though Positive music can be a safe writing method and keep albums selling, sometimes it can Really Pay Off to play a risk and write a Dark song. Again Arch Enemy is nowhere near a bad band, i just don't feel a Pull to them for lack of Message Variety. but like i said maybe its just the singles and there is variety on the overall album, but the singles all sound the same Message wise and it pushes me away.

BrokenAngel67 Lamb of God wouldnt make top 10, probably not even top 20 as far as our fav bands. We dont hold any fandom bias towards them but we give credit where it is due. LoG definitely pioneered what we now consider metalcore. Specifically Adler’s drumming style and Mortons riffing style. These styles paved the way and influenced bands like Killswitch, AILD, Bleeding Through and Unearth. Perhaps you arent aware but LoG originated in the early 90’s when true metalcore was blossoming. There is a reason why Chris Adler was regarded as the worlds best drummer for so long, it was because he was innovating the craft. Now its nearly impossible to listen to any modern drummer without hearing Chris Adler influence. As for where we got our information from, its called experience... unlike you who just Googled it.

BrokenAngel67 Anyone can research anything. Speaking from experience is much more genuine. We stand by what we said but we’ll meet you half way. Maybe influenced is a better word than pioneered, even though LoG was out before pretty much every band who is considered metalcore, and LoG is billed as metalcore (among other things). Being a fan of metal since ‘99 is pretty good but one of us has at least 5 more years of experience than that. You can keep Googling for all your knowledge but you’re just reading someone elses opinions anyway. You’re better off listening and studying the music to see how it has evolved over time. If you did that you would understand our stance regarding LoG. You’d understand why they’re the type of band to headline festivals and why you hear elements of their sound in so many bands today. We arent LoG stans, we just give credit where its due, and we’re not saying they deserve ALL credit, just a good chunk.

BrokenAngel67 How many notable bands from the early 90’s can you name that are billed as metalcore? Probably just one and its LoG. There might be others but I doubt anyone has ever heard of them and if they didnt influence anyone then they dont count. LoG gets cred because they’re the ones who broke through. Your opinions mirror a quick Google search so as previously mentioned all you are doing is mirroring someone elses opinion. When you get a chance list some notable metalcore bands from the early 90’s... bands that actually made something of themselves and had influence.

...visually ok, rather dissapointing musically giving their capacity and habilities, "popish", boring and dumb in all honesty, Alissa is a gorgeous girl and very smart but lacks the charisma and refined power that Angela possesses, the band already reached their peak and her departure marks the point where their decline is evident, they were my favorite band...no longer

In my opinion this is one of the weakest Arch Enemy songs. It is quite boring to be honest. I agree with you completely, especially the solo was disappointing to me. With Loomis and Amott together, there is just so much potential. And the video was kind of a remake of Revolution Begins. But I'm still very excited about the new album :)

They are wasting Jeff. They need him to let loose some Nevermore-ish songwriting on the next album cause this one aint shaping up to be much of anything new despite his presence in the band. Arch Enemy needs something new to breathe a little life in their music.
