I have that exact shoe, it's been in my closet for the past year and I haven't skated them yet. Still in the box. Bought them cause PJ Ladd is in my top 5. I will skate them eventually. I just been a big fan of DC shoes lately. I do want a pair of New Balance 420 tho, cause my feet are wide. Love you videos.

The NB 213 fit my foot better than any shoe and lasted a long time. But then they changed the design by removing the toe cap so i never bought them again. My shoe hunt continues but, i always seem to come back to a vans cultra cush gum sole when nothing catches my eye. I really wanted to like eS. They skate well but, my feet are so tired after a day of skating them. I saw some Adidas when a gum sole the othere day, they may get a go. I was never a sneaker head until i started skating. Now i am always serching.

If you have a slim foot like me I would also consider the NB 288. They are a slim shoe but made in suede so have less break in time and are awesome!

I've been skating accel plus everstitch. They are a vegan shoe which I know Ben likes. I just got a pair of the New balance 420s but holding off til I trash accels a little more.

Konrad v The éS Accel Slim skates like a dream, but the outsole is nearly as thin as the Emerica Romero Laced. The Accel Slim does have a thicker and more supportive heel than the Laced. However, the stock insoles have to be replaced with aftermarket ones for even low impact skating.

I'm still skating the 420s after 2 months with suede patches over the holes. My insoles have a hole after todays session so I guess I'd better retire them. I'll have to try these 533s out sometime.

You should try the 255. I can wear my normal size. Takes a few hours walking for them to stretch the perfect fit. I use them for skating and also doing remodel work. I guess at 46 years old I fit their old man demographic as well. Lol

You should do a "core" vs corp video. Maybe try the classics, like es accel slim or emerica reynolds, vs NB, Nike, Adidas or Vans or something. I find shoes kinda hard to figure out, cause there's so many shapes, soles etc...

Just tried a pair of numeric 345. They were super stiff so wore them to work. Went to the skate park same day and the broke in during the session. They became more comfortable and were actually nice to skate tons of grip. I feel more consistent with these than in Adidas 3st003.(Though the Adidas are more comfortable and supportive)

Shoes in general last long. The fact of the matter is that many reviews only consider the worst case scenario, like skating the pair of shoes every single day. There are however many skaters (like me) who skate twice a week, three times a week at the most. In cases like these a pair of shoes can last over 3 or 4 months. I've been skating a brazilian pair of shoes for over four months now. It's time for a new pair, I confess, but not all skaters skate every single day. I know it's important to consider this perspective.

I have the same sizing issue with NB with the 10.5 & 11's. I have some 533's that are lasting forever but I like the 420's slightly better than these 533''s. These two numeric's & Nyjah's are my fav shoes to skate in.

Nice video man, Ive been looking at different shoes, tried out Vans Old Skools (Non Pro model) and I tore a hole through the one in a couple of hours... Very disappointed with them, but I guess the Pro Models are better made. And the Non Pro Vans shoes are definitely just fashion statements, because I dont find them very comfortable to skate in... My previous shoes were Globe, and for half the price of the Vans they were so much better!

I wear 10.5 us and I wanted to get a pair of new balance 212’s (I believe they were, they have toe caps on them) I had to get them in a size 9.5 , a whole size down

If you keep doing new balances try the 440's my personal favorite. 10.5 is spot on for me and I have a thinner foot.

The new balance shoes I bought back in 2017 hurt my heel. There was absolutely no padding and I bought them without testing more shoe brands out so my fault but these ones look way better to skate in. I prefer Osiris shoes like I use to skate in back in 1998-2000 era.

I just ordered a pair of 533s(ladd) and 913s(westgate) let me tell u, they were a MISSION to find in my size n preferred color (black n white or gum) for the 913s I can only find what's called a Bee model which is black with yellow trim with a fat bubble bee graphic on the sole lol..I would prefer black n white or gum but they were the next best thing I could find (they look pretty dope tho,atleast in pictures)..this will be my first NB expirence, so in my head I was thinkin about skating the 533s first n use the bees as chillers til they break in (which is what I try to do anyways, I HATE skating new shoes!) but iv heard that the 913s break in faster out of the box, so I may have to reverse my initial plan.(skate bee n wear 533s as chillers til they break in) to anyone who are familiar with these models, any advice?

you know a shoe is good when there is more wear on the bottom than there is on the upper. My DC Lynx OGs I got right now are like that. I said it before, but it'd be cool to see you rock some DC Kalis S's Don't think they are too much thicker than these.
