If you thought that Yamaha XSR900 GP racer looked nice, did you see the Velocity moto XSR900 on the Datatag stand? Looks like the old RD500LC👍 The Honda Hornet had the world's most uncomfortable seat! Hopefully it goes well and at least it has 4 cylinders

Lotsa beautiful bling but, for real world whoa! the Suzuki GX looks like a winner. That said, if Suzuki smuggled that K5 into a “GS1000S” retro package it’d be hard to say no.

Tim, did you manage to upset all of Ducati, Triumph AND BMW? If so, you must be doing something right!!! ;) :) :D Good effort! When did you go? I went on Monday, was there by 10:20 (nightmare journey to get there) and it was about 25x busier (way too busy TBH!). Nice summary, keep up the honest, non-schilling work. Top man :) :D

I was disapointed in the Suzi 8R, would have the 8S! (but steel frame, really!!??). GSXS-X I would really quite like, not sure if I'd choose the GSXS-GT though...? Would love a Hyper 698!!!! (but would also love the KTM 690 SMC-R). Would deffo have the 990 Duke, like the Predator with his helmet off front end ;) :) Not sure Honda do a single bike I'd buy any more, except the Grom and Monkey, obvs (have had a serious hankering for a Monkey ever since a mate got one and I had a go...). Hymalaya 452... no price??? WTF? Would probably have the Trumpet 400X instead though... Roadskin AAA jeans at that price is VERY keen..had a good chat with the lady on their stand :) I am still sore I just missed out on EICMA trade day, next year!!! ;) (the NEC is sadly a shadow of it's former self, not sure if I'll go again... but glad I did this year....) There's my tour ;) :D (which you didn't ask for... :D )

Not directly relevant to the motorcycle show, but have there been any rumors of an updated Triumph Tiger 1200? It feels like they have fallen behind with some of the technology, specifically the adaptive cruise control. If Triumph had it available, there is a high probability one would be parked in my garage.

I think you could sit on them. The 8R and a few others were on a plinth, but you could still walk up to them....

How much road crap will that 990 headlight accumulate! My vote for the fugliest bike of all time. Muppets! The new Himalayan seems to have dish drainer as the rad guard? Now I’ve got used to the 1300, taken in the reviews and seen it in the flesh… it’s still pig ugly 😅 thanks for saving me the entry fee Tim!
