Hi John how do you mix or what do you mix neemoil with to make a spray up please

I can not answer that as I have never used neem oil. Sorry. Maybe someone else on the Channel will answer.

Hi John great video as always. Just wondering do you pull your split flags off the leeks? And would you do it straight away? Thanks
@gardeningwithjohnsoulsby11313 жыл бұрын
. I remove two flags at a time. Then when I wrap the leek I remove the others. Pleased your enjoying them.

Hi John ,will you posting leeks out as I'm in the East Midlands. I'm watering my leeks with a watering can shall I try a slow drip watering system ?

Thanks for your advise

You will need a frost free greenhouse Michael as I will post January or February , but we can speak later about your requirements. If you water by hand with a watering can this will be fine, just don’t get carried away with liquid feed. I’m not saying it’s wrong to feed but know what’s already in your beds first.

Hi ya John got some nice onions grown from peter G seeds there putting on weight with 6 to 8inch necks ok to feed chempak no 2 but no good with leeks I think they are full of thrips silvery colour still always next year what's the latest you sell next year thanks Nigel

Hello Nigel, nice to hear your onions are good. Sorry about your leeks. Sounds like red spider and thrip. Dynamek or Conserve will sort your problem but won’t put your foliage back to green. If you require leeks through the post, I would say February direct from cells, but if you can collect plants in pots I will grow them until first week in May.

Hi Andrew, check around the root plate to make sure it’s clean, this can cause the leek to bend.

Andrew it’s still to early for shaving leek heads. I will do a post to show everyone when the time is right. Probably start at the end of July. Some people don’t know what what shaving a seed head is about, so we will go through it and explain.
