It always amazes me when an actor lists only and only Hollywood movies, especially a movie like Shawshank Redemption and then end up doing Bollywood pot boilers. Either they think naming a chick Bolly movie makes them look less classy, or, they really love Nolan's story, but act in a movie like Mubarkaan because they have no other choice. In all honesty, some of our regional movies have better stories than a lot of movies across the world, but naming a movie like 'Thithi' might just not grab one's attention.

Ofcourse this is his opinion. I totally respect that. But this is me requesting him to watch our good regional movies which I refer to as the hidden indian cinemas.

Dude you are desperately trying to match World class craft of Hollywood with Bollywood.I agree there are some classics in Bollywood as well but to say it matches with Hollywood is not right.Hollywood comes up with unique creative ideas whereas Bollywood most often goes with the same masala and romantic movies. It has been going on for ages and publics taste has also not evovled sadly.

I always find when todays indian actors are asked what movies they watch & love or recommend, they always talk about english movies! Like they are to cool to watch hindi cinema, if hindi cinema isn't good enough for them why should they come & promote there movies & try & persuade us to watch their movies, i mean Arjun struggled to mention an indian movie, then says Mr India, out of all the amazing & important movies that have come from india over decades Mr India!

it doesn't matter.... the Silver lining in this, most people may not be Familiar to Some international films(Duh)... and there's a lot more to learn from films from abroad, not taking anything away from Indian film industry... if I were there, my recommendations would Be Mexican, Hollywood(Of course), Telugu and some Bengali films.... Hindi films, aren't handful to pick and recommend people, the good ones are known, but if You wanna Promote films that may be Exclusive to a set of Audience, then they will obviously be from overseas..
