The black looks nice on this bow. The overall look of the bow is very appealing. Especially to someone like me that doesn't own a Korean bow, so the design is eye catching. Sometimes simple look is all that's needed to be a pretty bow. Looks like a solid shooter. Great review as always.

Korean bows always seem to look best blac. This one really looked like a nice shooter. Really quite I did not expect that

A great bowtest as always, with the same small “problem” as always: you love so much bows that even you mention some small criticism, you always give 10 points.😄

I really like the look of this bow, reminds me of the Kaya black K. I agree with you 100% Armin, sometimes simplicity is best. I prefer this look way more than the faux carbon stuff they put on the higher end Daylite bows and some other Korean bows.

Pretty black bow! Seems to perform quite well for the money. I noticed the bow is symmetrical compared to other Korean bows, it's very quiet. You think the mosquitos are bad there, come to Maine there like small helicopters with spears! Haha! Great review as always!

초선, sometimes written Joseon; sometimes Choseon, has the ㅊ pronounced as a CH. As for the EO in seon, it's pronounced sun. The EO is pronounced the same as it is in luncheon or truncheon, not as an EE OHN as in neon. EO is now the standard way Koreans indicate a soft U sound. The city of 경주 used to have its spelling Romanized as Kyungju. Now it is spelled Gyeongju. Sorry for the pronunciation lesson, but that's just the old language teacher sticking his ugly head into somewhere where it's not likely wanted. Enjoyed the vid as usual.
@atune26822 жыл бұрын
Joseon was the name of a city too in korea right?
@inkim54722 жыл бұрын
@david maclean Thanks for the good explanation on how to pronounce it. Joseon is closer to the original pronunciation. and when writing in Korean, '조선' is the correct notation. not '초선' @Scharnhorst Joseon is the old name of Korea.

my guess is the war bow with regular korean grip is my order. their war bows come with round grips, but i specifically ordered mine with the korean grip that we know of. asked for the black/birch wrap and all. when i ordered mine, they promised 4-6 months. but after about 9 months, i requested refund. wish i didnt, but their responses felt like they were moving the goal post. for example, when they initially said 4-6 months, they didnt mention there is a whole another waiting list. so when i asked for an update after 4 months, they told me that my production was soon to begin and THEN the 4-6 month period begins. my understanding is that when cheon ji bow maker outsourced their production to china (aka segye bow of alibow), heekiong was in the production team. he took what he learned and opened the keekiong bow shop.
@Eiketsu892 жыл бұрын
Sorry, but I'm pretty sure the biocomposite Joseon is mine 🙂. I ordered mine in June last year and specifically requested a different handle like Yanbian, half black snakeskin/half birchbark on limbs, green ray skin arrow pass, and green thread wrapping. Heekiong encountered difficulty in the past shipping bows to Malta and then COVID lockdown prevented them from doing anything until now.
