+Jakob Krebs Not really, lol. I know what you mean, but it's fascinating to me because he is worth $470 mill (pre-divorce), and he knows and enjoys manual labor. I don't know how to build a wall and I know few people who know how to do any construction. My father is a businessman just like Arnold, yet I would see him around the house all the time reconstructing the chimney, the stairwell, or whatever other project he'd be working on during his weekends. I have a lot of respect for men who have authority, but by no means hesitate to get down and dirty with everyone else.

The cloudy weather adds to the nostalgia feeling, what a fantastic video. I love to see people's reaction when they see him, the policeman, the tourists..., and everything is great, the wall he built with Franco, the skull ring he is wearing, the plaster on his hand with a bit of blood, maybe because of the glass on the wall.. that was a funny story... and the histories he tells about his friend and the way they trained... fantastic document

Three observations: 1). I like how much of a cornball Schwarzenegger has been, not taking himself too seriously (the jokes here, Undercover at Gold's, Bud Light Super Bowl commercial) since leaving office and his marital issues. Can't let change and mistakes of the past hold you back. 2). The way he talks about training, the old days, and the respect he still has after all these years, movies, and politics for his friends and former competitors like Franco, he's still passionate about bodybuilding. 3). The wall he and Franco built. He didn't move to America to get into masonry, he moved here to be a bodybuilder. Construction was what you or I might consider one of those "shit jobs" we work like retail or waiting tables while pursuing what we really want, be it school, art, or whatever. The fact that he included that wall here shows the pride he has in his work, no matter how meaningless or trivial it may seem. Some days I have that, most I don't.

Arnold is so fucking awesome. If I ever got to hang out with him, I'd make prank phone calls all day with him doing live one liners instead of using a soundboard.

Pacific Ocean park, (POP) used to be located near there, it closed in 1967. Venice was also home to the rock group "The Doors". Thanks for posting this, along with your fine commentary!!

When Arnold speaks you get so drawn into whatever it is he is talking about. Then before you know it 12 minutes go by and you remember why a whole generation of young guys idolized him.

Arnold is awesome and has accomplished so much in his life.. on top of that not being from the USA, he has done so many amazing things it's just flabbergasting what he has accomplished in life.. Very nice of him to provide a tour of this area.. :).

Sardinia, they do that all over Europe. They drink beer when building a wall and then they break the bottles and put the glass on top of the wall in the cement

I am just now seeing your videos for the first time incredible. I am 57 and have nerve damage from surgery I had a few years ago. And wish I could learn how to work out and get in shape. I have the mindset just don't know how or where to start. Thank you for sharing some of your history and how you became a bodybuilder.
