Zagen er wit uit en er lagen iets van balken of strips tussen de rails in. Er stonden ook kasje naast het spoor. Als ik het kon had ik machinist geworden. Dankjewel voor de mooie vlog.

41:30 Stond ik als klein kind vroeger altijd met m'n opa rechts op het fietspad te kijken! In de tijd dat de Thalys hier nog reed en de Benelux trein met de oude Belgische loc! Prachtige tijden en intussen alweer 20 jaar geleden!

Continue brandende vertrek seinen worden vervangen door een knipperend vertrek sein zodat dit beter herkenbaar is voor personeel

Leuke rit weer Meester !!!, maar wat is het doel van die bakbordjes bij het keerspoor even voorbij Amsterdam Zuid? ( 24:24 ) Ze lijken bij het keerspoor en bij het doorgaande spoor te staan, maar een perron is daar niet.

Als daar een trein moet keren, weet de machinist waar hij moet stoppen en zeker weet dat de trein in zijn geheel op dat spoor staat.

@@Flevodienst Als er een stremming is in de Schipholtunnel, kan een trein keren op dat keerspoortje, zo staat hij ook niet in de weg langs het perron. In principe kun je zonder gedoe van achter elk bediend sein keren, dus ja, ook op het doorgaande spoor.

I have mixed feelings about sunset videos. They raise a lot of questions. Sure, they are pretty. But who really knows where the sun goes at night? Or, will it return in the morning? And how come this is the 2nd video on the the same day? Do I have to watch more Señor Cabview videos to remain a subscriber member in good standing? What if I already put my official Cabview Holland Dutch Railway pajamas in the wash? Will I still get full credit for watching this video.? How come so many problems like this are now coming out of the Netherlands? Is it farther to Leiden VIRM at sunset when it is clear or when it rains? Do you walk to work or carry a lunch? @@CabviewHolland They ran out of Burgundy? More seriously all I could do is guess. It's not painted for thermal reasons. The paint will wear off contact surfaces rather rapidly. That brings to mind an intent to study the wear patterns to make sure of the switch's alignment to real trains rather than cookbook theory. The wear pattern might show a need for a wee bit more ballast, for example. It could also be something as simple as protecting the surfaces a little bit from some forms of shipping damage. {o.o}

@@CabviewHolland Volgens mij is wit gekleurd gewoon veel minder gevoelig wat hitte betreft. Verschil zal heus enkele graden Celsius zijn dus in feite zal metal van de wissels minder buigen. Kortom, minder reparaties.
