I went to the RMIT open day, and they have like three of these rooms!! and the people helping run the open day were really cool and let my friend and I try one!

Another animation student here! I would highly recommend when modeling your characters in Maya, you model them in a T-Pose rather then having the arms down on their side. It will make it a LOT easier to rig the characters when it comes time to rigging! :)

i learnt that lesson the hard way! :'( i missed the class where we were told to start with a t-pose. i did eventually fix it up and set it to a t-pose and that made it sooo much easier!

Ahhh, sorry about that! I've only done rigging a couple times and I hate it haha. I'm mostly focused on the texturing and lighting aspects to Animation :)

Awww you are making me miss Animation school!! I did my 3D digital Animation degree in the United States But unfortunately never got to finish I had 2 semesters left to graduate but sadly my mom and grandfather both passed away in 2015. I hope to go back and finish someday. Good luck to you It looks like you are having a blast in all of your classes man! Animation classes were allways sooo much fun! One of my absolute fravorite classess was Sculptural Procedures for the Animator ( Zbrush). I also really enjoyed Storyboarding for our final project in that classes we had to make an Animatic based off of an old fairytale or folk tale. Mine was the tortoise and the hare set in the year 3,000 they were cyborgs. Good luck to you with all of your classes!!

Never went to art school but love art and doing my own little projects! Some cool animations. We never had classrooms like that :D In Luxembourg we had very cramped rooms with lots of drawing tables and in Ludwigsburg now we have work rooms, always up to 6 people. Like a little office.
