Hi J, awesome result (as expected :D); I really liked those caustics effects, did you make that caustics node? J, I know you don't use Blender to sculpt, but would you consider give a review on Blender 4.3 sculpt mode? The Blender devs made basically a full rework on it, which included things such as a huge boost on performance and brushs as assets; the opinion of a professional artist like you would be very valuable for Blender's devs and community :). Even you don't make a review, I suggest you upgrade to 4.3 anyway, Cycles recieved some nice updates too, specially to its volumetrics :D.

Oh interesting. I’ll take a look and maybe try to sculpt an upcoming head or something. The caustics in this was from a $20 thing I bought on the blender store. A custom node setup for a spotlight

Who is the artist behind that reference pic? Kinda looks like an AI image based of samdoesarts style. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
@DBproductionsBadJuicy6 күн бұрын
Likely AI. The results are quite nice.
@dylanswint12716 күн бұрын
It's sad to say but AI art is the first thing coming up on Pinterest, google images, even adobe stock when you're searching for references. Sure, if you have a few favorite artists you can always check their page for references, but for making an original image like this (quickly) then using search engine results means you're going to work off of AI. welcome to 2024.

Zremesher guide, helps guide and control the topology for better edgeloops. I believe that's why he does that strong cut around the nose and mouth so Zbrush detects it and follows it more closely, then after Zremeshing and getting the desired topology he can go back in and get rid of it.

@@artofjhillok maybe I wasn’t understood but I meant it is glaring where there is some parts the UI of Blender and ZBrush then sometimes not. I was asking for future videos so I can even see the brush used and settings. But it is up to you what video editing you do in the near future.
