You have inspired me to change my mind about my antique 1880s sideboard, which we bought in London, and decide to keep it. I may put it into the guest room and add wood racks for them to use the larger open sections for clothing while staying in our next home. I also have to find larger rugs to fit further under all of those living room and dining room chairs. Lastly, I will be hanging the curtains in the next house as high as they can go, and also I will add some scone lighting. Thanks for the great tips for a luxury look!

I am a new subscriber of your beautiful content. I had a new idea that might help many people who follow your content. A video about placement and measurement of rugs when purchasing them. I have a bedroom with a large bed and a lot of empty space, I’m just trying to figure out what size would work best. Also, it’s not just the rug itself, it’s about the rug pad that is placed underneath, to avoid slipping and sliding on top of my old vinyl flooring. That’s the problem I am in at this moment. Anyway, thanks for sharing your design elements that help us. ❤❤

Honestly, I’ve sourced so many amazing 100% wool, hand knotted rugs on Etsy!! It kind of depends on what your needs are, but you can never go wrong with a 100% wool/hand knotted. So many beautiful antique and vintage options too! Wool is incredibly durable, and if there’s ever a spill, you can simply rinse it with water!

How do you feel about fake plants?
@ashleychilders7 ай бұрын
I don’t use them often in my home, except for Christmas I do a faux tree and garland indoors because we decorate so early! I usually try to do real plants or floral stems clipped from the garden in our home, but I know that’s not easy for everyone, especially if people have to travel or are away from their homes often. I feel like there’s some great faux options out there, and you have to just do what works best for you and your Lifestyle!
